Spartacus was a Thracian gladiator who led a major slave rebellion across the Roman Republic. He was portrayed by Kirk Douglas in a 1960 Stanley Kubrick film, and more recently by the late Andy Whitfield and Liam McIntyre in the Starz television series.

Worf

In Star Trek: The Next Generation, Worf (Michael Dorn) is the no-nonsense chief of security aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. As a Klingon, his weapon of choice is a Bat’Leth axe, and his fashion accessory of choice is the ornamental baldric sash worn over his shoulder.

They Live Alien

They Live is an action horror film from John Carpenter in which a drifer finds out a large percentage of the American population who hold power are actually aliens, and that all written text really say subliminal messages such as “OBEY” or “STAY ASLEEP”. Best done in groups. Recommended you make an “OBEY” picket sign.

Pinhead

Pinhead is main villain and leader of the Cenobites from the Hellraiser film series, based on the book The Hellbound Heart by Clive Barker. While there are Pinhead masks for sale, I believe none of them do true justice to the character and that he is best shown through make-up. Listed here are the basic requirements, but for little details and how to actually create Pinhead’s face I highly recommend watching this excellent Pinhead make-up tutorial

Amanda Young

Amanda Young (Shawnee Smith), also known as Mandy, is one of the main villains of the Saw film franchise and the apprentice of Jigsaw. Her wearing the Reverse Bear Trap is considered one of the franchise’s most memorable and iconic images. Be sure to cut the sleeves off of the sweater and strap them on your upper arms.

Merida from Brave

In Brave, Merida (voiced by Kelly Macdonald) is a sixteen year old Scottish princess. She dreams of following her own path and leading her own life, which defied age-old custom and causes a bit of chaos in the kingdom.

Space Cop

Space Cop is the protagonist of Red Letter Media’s schlock film Space Cop. He is a slobbish cop from the future sent to the past.

DIO From Stardust Crusaders

Considered one of the most iconic (and quotable) villains of modern times, DIO is a ruthless vampire and is the main villain of the whole JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series. This guide is based on his appearance in Part 3, Stardust Crusaders. A flamboyant but chiseled beast, DIO starts the series as an abused British brat. However, after securing the Stone Mask, he gains immortality as a vampire. DIO continues to torment the Joestar family nearly a century later, and his actions affect the whole franchise. Be sure to cut DIO’s jacket to proper size (about ribcage level) and cut a whole for his bulge in his pants. Red Cape optional. Use the green fabric to make DIO’s two hanging belts as well as the hearts on his headband, belt, and knees. Don’t forget the three dots on DIO’s left earlobe,

Dr. Decker

Dr. Decker is the slasher villain of the cult classic fantasy/horror film Nightbreed (played by legendary horror director David Cronenberg) and the novel Cabal by Clive Barker of Hellraiser and Candyman fame. He is a serial killer psychologist who convinces his patients that they are serial killers before reporting them to the police and having them killed.

Special Agent Dale Cooper

Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) is the protagonist of the cult classic TV series Twin Peaks. He is an optimistic if not slightly off FBI agent who is sent to the mysterious town of Twin Peaks, where he gets more than what he bargained for. A lover of mystery, black coffee, and cherry pie, Cooper’s unflinching charm has made him one of the most beloved protagonists in television history. Cooper has a wide variety of ties. For convenience, we’ll stick to his Fire Walk With Me appearance with a solid black tie.
