Squidward Tentacles is a main character in SpongeBob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical. A stage adaptation of the Nickelodeon cartoon, the show premiered on Broadway at the Palace Theater in 2017. Squidward is the pessimistic neighbor of Spongebob and Patrick, with a love of fine art and clarinet playing – though he’s not skilled at either. He works at the Krusty Krab as a cashier.
