John Lennon is one of the singers and guitarists of The Beatles. He writes many of the band’s songs with Paul McCartney. His other band members include George Harrison and Ringo Starr. In 1968, they starred in the animated movie, Yellow Submarine. The plot revolves around the Fab Four defeating the Blue Meanies, and of course, riding in a yellow submarine. The aesthetic is very colorful and trippy. The band released an album under the same name featuring the songs in the movie. Jackson (played by Kid Cudi) is the male lead in The Farmer’s Daughters, the porn movie at the heart of Ti West’s horror film X.  Jackson is a Vietnam War veteran who heads to a secluded Texas farm to make an adult film along with fellow actors Bobby-Lynne and Maxine.  Jackson served as a Marine and still wears his dog tags.  When trying to recreate his look from the film, there are a few ways you can choose to go about it.  By focusing more on the colors used (a pale yellow shirt and light blue suit), you may have more options available to you.  You could also go for a men’s disco costume in a similar color.  And if you’re really committed to portraying Jackson perfectly, and are willing to shell out to do so, you might even find a vintage leisure suit in a matching color.

Bobby-Lynne (played by Brittany Snow) is the confident blonde co-star of Maxine and Jackson in the horror film X.  She is a confident, sexually liberated woman who heads to a secluded Texas farm to make an adult film called The Farmer’s Daughters.  Bobby-Lynne proves she’s fashionable with her bleach-blonde hair and yellow eye shadow.  Before she changes into her farmer’s daughter costume, she wears a bright-colored romper and platform sandals.  Finding an exact match for the costume can be tough, so don’t be afraid to be interpretive.  You can use any orange romper paired with the right accessories. Or, if you’re a fan of the draping of Bobby-Lynne’s, a halter tank layered over a pair of shorts in a matching shade can also do the trick.

Mr. Knight is a character in the Marvel Disney+ series, Moon Knight. He is the alter ego of Steven Grant, who is another alias and identity of Marc Spector, portrayed by Oscar Isaac. The titular hero encompasses three individuals — Marc, Steven, and (spoiler!) Jake Lockley — who serves as the avatar of the Egyptian god, Khonshu. While sharing the same moon emblem and glowing eyes of the hero suit, this look better fits Steven’s posh persona.

Princess Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) is the protagonist of the Disney animated movie, The Princess and the Frog. She works as a waitress with big dreams of opening her own restaurant to serve her homemade beignets and gumbo. She meets Prince Naveen as a frog, and when she kisses him, she turns into a frog as well! Together they journey off to find a solution while falling in love along the way. After outsmarting Dr. Facilier, they marry and become human again, for they realize they are what each other needed to become their best selves. Tiana makes history as the first Black Disney princess, and her story will continue in an upcoming self-titled Disney+ series. Her wedding dress is inspired by the bayou with its green color palette and lilypad elements.

Iris is the main character of the French cartoon, LoliRock. She is the Princess of Ephedia, who fights for justice and peace. She possesses magical crystal powers that are activated by casting spells. Her friends are Talia and Auriana. This costume guide features her regular look. In her princess form, she has pink hair, and in her evil form, she has purple hair. Use the purple ribbon to decorate the ruffles at the bottom of the dress.

Fresh is a character in the mobile game Subway Surfers. Intelligent and perceptive, he’s a deep thinker prone to cynicism, as communicated through his song lyrics. Fresh loves all things 80s, as indicated by his huge boombox that’s always playing music. Above all, he’s the glue that holds the Surfers together.

Elena is a character from the Street Fighter video games. She first appears in Street Fighter III: New Generation. She is from Kenya and is currently studying abroad. Light-hearted and nature loving, she specializes in the Brazilian-African martial arts style called capoeira, which combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music.
