Phoenix / Jean Grey

A telepath and telekinetic whose powers rival that of Professor X’s, Jean Grey (Famke Janssen) of X-Men: The Last Stand is no longer the kind, sweet woman of the previous two movies. After drowning while saving the rest of the team, Jean is resuscitated by a dark, evil, extremely powerful force called the Phoenix. As the Phoenix, Jean Grey joins with Magneto in his battle against humans and her true potential is unleashed in a fiery fury, resulting in tragedy. The Phoenix wears all red, reflecting her connection to fire.

Bill Potts

A companion of the 12th Doctor on the BBC TV series Doctor Who, Bill Potts (Pearl Mackie) begins as a student of the Doctor before learning his time-traveling secret. After she agrees to travel with him and his other companion Nardole, she sets out on a series of adventures. Fans love her as a smart, lovable, down-to-earth, sassy woman and the first lesbian portrayed on the show.

The Man in Black from the Dark Tower

An immortal, evil sorcerer who delights in causing death and devastation, The Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey) is the powerful villain in the 2017 movie adaptation of Stephen King’s novel The Dark Tower. In this first installment of the series, The Man in Black- also known as Walter Padick – goes up against protagonist and Gunslinger Roland Deschain (Idris Elba) in a battle to protect the Tower. If the Tower falls, as the Man in Black wants, all the many universes linked to it will be destroyed. As expected, the Man in Black dresses entirely in black.

A young boy with powerful psychic abilities, Jake Chambers (Tom Taylor) follows his visions to a portal to another dimension called Mid-World in the 2017 adaption of Stephen King’s novel the Dark Tower. In this western-style parallel universe he befriends Roland Deschain, the last Gunslinger, and comes up against the Man in Black. The Man in Black wants to use Jake’s powers to destroy the Tower that links all universes; Jake and Roland set out to stop him. Jake dresses like all other boys his age do, in a casual hoodie, jeans and plaid shirt.

Nardole

The endearing, cowardly Nardole (Matt Lucas) was a brief companion of the 12th Doctor on the BBC TV series Doctor Who. Originally an employee of the Doctor’s wife, River Song, Nardole lost his head in an attempt to discover River’s whereabouts but was reassembled by the Doctor. The two joined forces for a short while, and then Nardole made a courageous decision that lead him down a different path. Nardole dresses in a distinctive, goofy outfit of burnt orange coat, beanie and glasses.

Jamie Fraser

The chivalrous, handsome Scottish Highlander who rescues Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) after she falls through a time portal in the Starz TV series Outlander, Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) selflessly offers to marry her in order to protect her from the villain Randall. He and Claire fall in love, despite her being from the future and already having a husband. Throughout the series he endures great hardships because of his love for her, yet it never wanes. As a true Scotsman, he wears traditional highland clothing.

Originally an ex-army nurse from the 1940’s, Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) visits Scotland on a second honeymoon with her husband and accidentally walks through a time portal to the 1700’s on the smash Starz series Outlander. When she stumbles through the portal, Scotland is in the midst of the Jacobite Uprising. She is promptly rescued by a dashing, handsome Highlander named Jamie Fraser. Claire must decide whether to stay with Jamie or return to her husband, all the while navigating personal and world dramas. This guide is for her iconic first episode outfit, a classic 1940’s look.

Originally a Viking child encountered by the 12th Doctor on the BBC series Doctor Who, Ashildr (Maisie Williams) became immortal after the Doctor resurrected her from death. She took advantage of her immortality, traveling the world and assuming many aliases – so many that she eventually took the simple name “Me”. She lives to the end of time and then, due to the wonderfully pliable time laws of Doctor Who, encounters the Doctor once again. This is for her outfit in the episode ‘Face the Raven’, when she is mayor of a London town inhabited by aliens. For the tattoos, use body paint or a handy eyeliner pencil.

Chang Wufei

A descendant of Chinese warriors, Chang Wufei pilots gundam Shenlong in the anime TV series Gundam WIng. He is a fierce, conflicted, emotionally volatile pilot, often triggered into impassioned outbursts and refusing to fight against those he deems weak. Before he piloted Shenlong, he was married to a woman named Meiran as per his clan’s customs. When she died in an Alliance attack on their colony, he took up his fight for justice in her name. He wears high-waisted baggy white pants over a blue tank top and sports a short ponytail.

Branch Connally

The handsome and physically fit Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) serves as a deputy in the Absaroka county Sheriff’s Department on the TV series Longmire. His family has ancestral roots in the Wyoming county and was one of the first families to build it into a bustling city.
