Marilyn Monroe plays The Girl in The Seven Year Itch, in which she’s the object of her neighbor’s fantasies. It’s in this movie that one of the most iconic images in film takes place – she stands over a subway grate which causes her dress to billow in the breeze.

Salvador Dali

Salvador Dalí was a Spanish surrealist painter who is best known for his bizarre, striking images. His unusual behavior and eccentric manner gained as much attention as his work. Albert Einstein

Despite his somewhat disheveled look, Albert Einstein is one of the most brilliant minds of the 20th century. He won the Nobel Prize in Physics for his contribution to theoretical physics. Even most people can recite his famous equation, E=mc2 (though trying to explain it might be another story).

Julie Grigio

In Warm Bodies, Julie Grigio (Teresa Palmer) is sent out from the zombie fort to find medical supplies. She’s promptly surrounded by zombies, but one of them named R rescues her. They gradually develop a love for each other, which makes R transform from the undead to the living. It’s just like in the old fairy tales.

In Warm Bodies, R (Nicholas Hoult) is not your typical zombie. He is able to communicate, granted with grunts and moans. He gets enjoyment from eating food, granted by devouring human brains and experiencing their memories. And he falls in love with the non-zombie Julie Grigio, granted after consuming her boyfriend.

Andy Warhol

Considered by many to be the godfather of pop art, Andy Warhol’s artistic style and fashion sense continue to be copied decades after his death. Don’t worry, art school is not required in order to look like an artist. All you need is a black turtleneck, a pair of wayfarer eyeglasses and a Polaroid camera. Of course, art is subjective so feel free to take some pictures and claim them as your latest masterpiece.

Carrie

Sometimes people are pushed to the brink and for 17-year-old Carrie it was prom night. While her classmates may have thought otherwise, Carrie’s homemade prom dress was actually quite nice. However, if you don’t want to be confused for just any prom queen then you need to cover yourself in fake blood. As for acquiring telekinesis, you’re on your own with that one.

Droogs

Alex and his droogs didn’t make a lot of wise choices in A Clockwork Orange. In fact, even their attire was questionable. If you’ve always wanted a reason to wear your jockstrap on the outside of your pants, then dressing like a droog is for you. Complete the outfit with a bowler hat and cane but then stop there, this is one costume where acting the part is discouraged.

Elphaba from Wicked

Wicked gives the backstory of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz. Born with green skin, she’s is neglected in favor of her beautiful sister Nessarose. When Elphaba starts college, she’s ignored in favor of her popular roommate Galinda. When they’re ready to fly, Galinda gets a bubble while Elphaba gets a dirty broomstick. How’s that fair?

Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn

Charlie Sheen stars in Major League as pitcher Rick Vaughn. When the Cleveland Indians owner wants to put out the worst team possible, they hire a cast of misfits including Vaughn. He has an amazing arm but lacks control, earning the nickname Wild Thing. That is, until he takes an eye exam and is fitted with skull-and-crossbones glasses.
