Little Nero’s Pizza Delivery Guy from Home Alone

“Keep the change ya filthy animal!” The unnamed Little Nero’s Pizza Delivery Guy is a minor character in the movie Home Alone. Kevin McCallister orders from Little Nero’s Pizza, a (fake) pizza parlor in Chicago. He uses clips from an old Hollywood movie to converse with the delivery boy, giving off the impression that he’s an adult. When the delivery boy asks for a tip, Kevin speeds up the movie to a gun scene. Believing the gunshots are real, the delivery boy sprints away. This cleverness makes pizza delivery scene one the most famous in the movie, and a similar scene occurs again in Home Alone 2.

Charlie from Bumblebee

Charlie from Bumblebee

Charlie Watson, played by Hailee Steinfeld, is the classic type of teen angst in Bumblebee the film. She struggles to fit with the “in” crowd, and in a way she doesn’t really care to. She is crazy about cars. Cars are what her and her late father bonded over the most. She gets super excited when she is able to land a deal with Uncle Hank for a rusty Volkswagen Beetle she found laying around his shop. The car turns out to be the transformer Bumblebee, who got roughed up during an epic battle. Their friendship begins in Charlie’s garage with Bumblebee’s surprise transformation, and things only get wilder from there.

jason voorhees from friday the 13th VII

Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th VII: The New Blood

In Friday the 13th VII: The New Blood, Jason Voorhees (played for the first time in the franchise by Kane Hodder) is resurrected from the depths of Crystal Lake by a teenager with telekinetic powers. Freed from his literal chains beneath the water, Jason proceeds to wreak havoc, committing countless murders with an array of unique weapons including a scythe, green party horn, a weed wacker, and even a sleeping bag. Because Jason has been sitting at the bottom of Crystal Lake prior to part VII, his clothing is not only tattered, but its remnants expose rotted flesh and bone, giving Jason a somewhat zombiefied look. When creating this costume, it is important to generously slash and tear the clothing to reveal layers of flesh and bone beneath. A two-piece latex mask with detachable hockey mask is the best way to truly embody this particular version of Jason Voorhees.

Now he must help with the mission while finding a way to turn Sterling back to human form.

Harley Quinn from Birds of Prey

Harley Quinn from Birds of Prey

Harley Quinn aka Harleen Quinzel (played by Margot Robbie) is one of the most fascinating women the DC universe. She started as a love interest and henchwoman to the Joker and later gained her independence. When and how varies from comic run to comic run or show to show. But every time she finds her way to independence and the results are wild, a little dangerous, and always fun. Birds of Prey is the newest addition to Harley’s canon exploits and it is set to be a wild ride. She fully embraces her own unique style in this film. That means a crazy combination of crushed velvet with caution tape and some star-spangled shorts for good measure. Nothing quite matches but with Harley’s wild nature just brings it all together anyway!

The Green Hornet (2011)
