Julien Baker from Boygenius: The Film

Boygenius, a band that consists of singers Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker. They recently released their new album The Record and created, as well as starred in, a short film of three music videos directed by Kristen Stewart called The Film. The three songs featured are $20, Emily I’m Sorry, and True Blue. The artists wear similar outfits throughout all three videos, but each are unique to each person. In the final song True Blue, they paint a room completely blue and end up with it on themselves, which can be recreated with fabric paint, acrylic paint, and blue face paint for the skin.

Orin Scrivello, DDS is from the musical film Little Shop of Horrors and is played by Steve Martin. The film follows Seymour Krelborn who works in a flower shop and discovers an unusual plant that he names Audrey II, that feeds only on humans and blood. Orin Scrivello is one of the villains in the film and is Audrey’s boyfriend. He is an evil dentist that is eventually fed to Audrey II by Seymour.

Orin’s look and character is inspired by Elvis Presley and features a black leather jacket when he is out of work, and as a dentist he wears a white shirt and black apron.

Squidward Tentacles is a main character in SpongeBob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical. A stage adaptation of the Nickelodeon cartoon, the show premiered on Broadway at the Palace Theater in 2017. Squidward is the pessimistic neighbor of Spongebob and Patrick, with a love of fine art and clarinet playing – though he’s not skilled at either. He works at the Krusty Krab as a cashier. His big number is “I’m Not a Loser,” where he tap dances in a sparkly turquoise suit. Gavin Lee portrayed Squidward in the Broadway production.

Audrey is a character from the 1986 musical film Little Shop of Horrors, and is played by Ellen Greene. The film follows Seymour Krelborn who works in a flower shop and discovers an unusual plant that he names Audrey II, that feeds only on humans and blood. Audrey is the love interest to Seymour in the story and is the girlfriend of a dentist, Orin Scrivello DDS.

Lucky’s costume are bright and colorful like his yellow blazer he wears dancing and the red waiter uniform he wears when he gets a job with Rusty. She also wears yellow in the film, like her full yellow poolside outfit in “The Lady Loves Me” number, where Lucky wears a gray suit to compliment her and the rest of the environment.
