Quinlan

On The Strain, Quinlan (Rupert Penry-Jones) is a vampire/human hybrid who helps the humans fight the vampire outbreak. While his mother was pregnant, she was turned by the strigoi, an ancient line of vampires, and it resulted in him being half human and half strigoi. As a pariah, he resents the Master for his condition, and makes it his life’s purpose to hunt him. The most distinctive aspects of Quinlan’s appearance are his facial scars, gray skin, and pale blue eye color, which can be achieved with zombie makeup. Another unique feature of his character is his scrimshaw, bone-handle sword, which isn’t available. With a little effort, a prop bone can be cut and fixed to the handle of a foam prop sword, and painted to look like an aged bone with scrimshaw markings.

Blisstina ‘Bliss’ Utonium

Years before Professor Utonium (Tom Kane) created the Powerpuff Girls — Blossom (Amanda Leighton), Bubbles (Kristen Li), and Buttercup (Natalie Palamides) — he created Blisstina Utonium (Olivia Olson), better known as Bliss. After accidentally adding Chemical W to a mix of sugar, spice, and everything nice, Bliss was created as the “perfect little girl”…but with superpowers. At some point in her childhood, her powers began to manifest in a volatile manner whenever she felt emotions too strongly. After accidentally blowing up the house, she sends herself into exile. She reunites with her family in the Powerpuff Girls special, “The Power of Four.”

Dutch Velders

On The Strain, Dutch Velders (Ruta Gedmintas) is a streetwise internet hacker who worked for Eldritch Palmer’s company. She later learns that her work allowed the vampire strain to take hold of New York City, and joins Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, Professor Setrakian, and Vasilly Fet in the fight to save the city. Her clothing is typical of an underground hacker, though she always wears a considerable amount of jewelry and heavy, black eye makeup.

Bombshell Cheetah

DC Bombshells is an alternate reality where female superheroes guard the homefront during WWII. In this reality, Cheetah is an archaeologist, adventurer, and hunter during the Spanish Civil War, and is eventually recruited by the German army.

Quinn Morgendorffer from Daria

Quinn Morgendorffer is the younger sister of Daria in MTV’s 1997 animated series Daria. She is attractively infectious, always surrounding herself with materialism and shallowness while often ignoring her intellectual capabilities.

Adrien Agreste

Adrien Agreste (Bryce Papenbrook) is the day-to-day identity of the teen superhero Cat Noir in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He uses the Cat Miraculous, a ring inhabited by a creature called Plagg, in order to turn into his feline-themed alter ego Cat Noir. Adrien and Marinette share both requited and unrequited feelings for each other, depending on which persona they’re in. As classmates, Marinette crushes on Adrien, but as heroes the roles are reversed.

Malcolm Tucker from In The Loop

Malcolm Tucker (Peter Capaldi) is the foul-mouthed and hilarious protagonist of the British series The Thick of It and the 2009 film In the Loop. His clothing style is the basic business look: suit and tie, button up dress shirt, black shoes, black belt. The rest of the character is about getting overly creative with your insults.

V.M. Varga (David Thewlis) is the main antagonist from the third season of Fargo. he is a mysterious loner and founder of Narwhal, a company that consumes Emmit Stussy’s parking lot empire. He appears to only own one set of clothes despite apparently being a multi-billionaire, has a mouth of badly rotten teeth, and his entire background is a vague mystery.

Dr. Ephraim Goodweather

On The Strain, Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) is a doctor with the Center for Disease Control’s New-York-based Canary Project. He is called to investigate a mysterious illness that killed all the passengers aboard a plane. He and his team later discover that the viral outbreak is actually an ancient strain of vampirism, known as the strigoi.
