Carbon Costume

In Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, Adrien Brody plays Dmitri, the son of the wealthy Madame D.  Following her death, he accuses M. Gustave of her murder, setting into motion much of the action of the film.  Dmitri wears all black and is a member of the fascist “ZZ,” as indicated by an armband he can be seen wearing.

Barry Burton from the Resident Evil franchise has been handed down from voice actor to voice actor but he remains the character that so many fans know and love. He is a dedicated family man which guides his hand in everything he does. And while is passionate about bringing down the Umbrella Corporation and stopping bioterrorism, he will not sacrifice the people he loves to do it.

He is a former member of the US Air Force and a backup for the elite S.T.A.R.S. unit. His experience means that he approaches his work with a very pragmatic and critical eye. Work boots, sturdy jeans, and an easy-access chest holster mean that he can get in, get the job done, and get out without worrying about his clothes making that harder. His buzz cut and clean shave are holdovers from his time in the military. And though he is well-versed in many weapons, he prefers his trusty revolver.

In The Grand Budapest Hotel, Deputy Kovacs (played by Jeff Goldblum) is a lawyer who represents the interests of the hotel and Madame D.  He is responsible for reading the will that bestows the Boy with Apple painting to M. Gustave.  Deputy Kovacs wears a pinstripe suit and round rimmed glasses.

Erik, better known as The Phantom of the Opera, is a main character of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s famous musical. His real name is Erik. He lives underground beneath the Paris Opera House, and becomes infatuated with a soprano singer named Christine Daae. As a musical genius, he recognizes her talent and selects her to sing his music. He eventually falls in love with her, but she doesn’t reciprocate, which leaves him heartbroken. He wears a mask to hide half his face which had been disfigured from birth. The musical is currently running on Broadway, where Ben Crawford plays this title role.

Oh nooo, Mr. Bill! Mr. Bill (created and voiced by Walter Williams) is one of SNL’s most enduring characters, with celebrity endorsements that include Pringles, Burger King, and many others. A parody claymation character, Mr. Bill wears a red shirt and blue pants and has bright yellow-blond hair.

Bruno Gehard is satirical fictional persona portrayed by British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen. Bruno is an openly gay, flamboyant fashion reporter from Austria. He is best known for his outlandish taste in fashion. Bruno first appeared in short comedy sketches on television before getting a feature film in 2009. He often gets compared to the comedian’s other character, Borat, though some claim Bruno is even more offensive.

In 12 Monkeys, Jeffrey Goines (played by Brad Pitt) is an animal rights and anti-consumer activist, as well as the son of Nobel Prize-winning virologist Dr. Leland Goines.  Jeffrey meets time traveler James Cole in a while hospitalized in 1990 and by 1996, he is the founder of the Army of the Twelve Monkeys.  Jeffrey is a jittery fanatic who uses his street clothes and hospital gown in a variety of combinations.

Prince Charmont (played by Hugh Dancy) is a charming prince not used to women not swooning over him as Ella of Frell did. He is the only son of the deceased King, and next in line for the throne. Prince Charmont doesn’t want to be a king. Unfortunately for him, being king is not exactly a fate he can runaway from. He coincidentally encounters Ella often while they both tackle their own problems in Ella Enchanted.
