Marla Singer from Fight Club

Marla Singer (played by Helena Bonham Carter) is the main female protagonist in Fight Club. Marla has a death wish and carries an apathetic attitude. She makes some cash from stealing clothes from laundry mats and selling them off. She gets a free cup of coffee by going to various support group meetings that have no relation to anything she herself may be going through. She is promiscuous and sleeps with The Narrator’s roommate, Tyler Durden, after getting The Narrator’s number originally. Marla is a strong spirited person despite her struggles with mental illness and addiction. She does not care what others think of her and does what she wants when she wants.

This costume is relatively easy to put together. First get your hair messy with the got2b beach matte paste and put a section of it up with a scrunchie. Then apply the nyx black eyeshadow base and after that the shadow. It can be applied pretty messy with one eye shadow brush and a bit of smudging with your fingers. After putting on the cami and the skirt and you get to the cardigan use however many brooches you would like to close it. You can style them like buttons down the cardigan. I suggest using at least 3. Marla has her’s buttoned from top to bottom with bottom part open. Finally, finish putting on the rest of the outfit and apply lip gloss. This costume works well for either Halloween or cosplay events.

Daisy Fuller from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

In The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Benjamin ages backwards, while Cate Blanchett’s Daisy Fuller ages forwards, like any normal person would. After observing each other’s lives go by in their respective directions for years, the day their ages finally become compatible arrives, and they meet for dinner as peers. Love blossoms for as long as it can without seeming terribly weird, and that’s all that can be said without spoiling the entire film for you.

Robert Graysmith from Zodiac

Robert Graysmith from Zodiac

In the movie Zodiac, Robert Graysmith is played by veteran actor Jake Gyllenhaal, though Graysmith is very much a real person still alive today. His movie persona is shy and well-meaning though that doesn’t stop him from being pulled into the absolute chaos that was the investigation into the Zodiac killer. Graysmith’s costumes in the movie were typical clothing for the time: plaid button down dress shirts, slacks, and sensible work shoes. He also wore a blue puffy jacket in many scenes.

The key to his costume, however is in the details. You can get a copy of the code breaker book used to decipher some of the Zodiac’s letters. And, if you’re feeling brave, you can get some of the letters from the internet. They haven’t all been deciphered and who knows? Maybe you’ll be the one to crack the letters’ codes while you’re in Graysmith’s frame of mind!

Edmund Kemper from Mindhunter

Edmund Emil Kemper III is an American serial killer who abducted and murdered several women in the early 1970s using his large stature and formidable intelligence. He was portrayed every so creepily by Cameron Britton in the 2017 Netflix series Mindhunter.

Tyler Durden

Played by Brad Pitt in Fight Club, Tyler Durden is a soap salesman who befriends Edward Norton on a business trip. He’s a complete break from the meek Norton: smoking, having flings, and of course, starting fights.
