Cartoons
Linda Flynn-Fletcher from Phineas and Ferb
By day Linda Flynn-Fletcher is a busy housewife in suburban Danville. By night she is… still a busy housewife since her days of wild adventure were back in the ’80s as pop sensation Lindana. Of course she still has plenty to keep her busy between neighborhood clubs, her classes, and of course Candace calling her a few times every afternoon trying to bust Phineas and Ferb!
It’s hard to match Linda’s energy levels but you can match her look pretty easily. A red wig and a pink hairband start off the look. Her casually comfortable style needs only a white short sleeve button down, a yellow sweater vest, and a green pair of capris. Yellow sneakers with cuffed white socks make it easy to stay on the go while red lipstick and teal ball earrings add the final touches.
Rize Kamishiro from Tokyo Ghoul
Rize Kamishiro (voiced by Kana Hanazawa and Monica Rial) was a ghoul whose kakuhou was transplanted into Ken Kaneki, the main protagonist of the anime and manga Tokyo Ghoul. Rize’s costume consists of a white dress layered over a blue shirt, long purple hair, and red half-rimmed glasses.
Doctor Atsuko Chiba from Paprika
Dr. Atsuko Chiba (voiced by Megumi Hayashibara) is the main protagonist of the anime film Paprika, named for the doctor’s cheerful and carefree alter ego. Atsuko is a psychotherapist and co-worker of Kosaku Tokita. Atsuko’s serious personality matches her clothing choices well, as she typically opts for beige and black work clothes and black heels. Paprika, on the other hand, sports short auburn hair, a bright red t-shirt, and matching sneakers.
Sisu from Raya and the Last Dragon
Goofy and lovable with a penchant for rhyming, Sisu the dragon (voiced by Awkwafina) has numerous magical abilities, including transforming into a human. Her outfit seems like it was practically designed with us cosplayers in mind! Sisu and her newfound friend Raya embark on a quest to unite the fragments of a powerful dragon orb that protects the five divided kingdoms of Kumandra from evil spirits.
Kaede Kayano from Assassination Classroom

Captain Melonhead from Ed Edd and Eddy
You don’t want to mess with Captain Watermelon. Beloved hero that he is, you’ll have the whole neighborhood after you. And that’s if Captain Watermelon doesn’t take care of you himself. Though he sounds like Johnny 2×4 (voiced by David Avalon), don’t get confused. He’s way tougher and is not afraid to take you on.
Getting Captain Watermelon’s swagger is a little hard to do but getting his look is pretty straight-forward. Start with a fake watermelon, the kind used for decorating. Cut that in half, hollow it out, and add in some eye holes and you’re ready to go! Or you can go for the watermelon helmet option.
With your trusty watermelon helmet ready, finish off the outfit with a white sandals, white pants, and a yellow shirt. A bleach pen will make it easy to draw in the lines on the shirt for a closer screen match. And of course you don’t want to forget plank. Blue paint for his mouth and a white banana decorated with eyes turns him into a great sidekick for the courageous Captain Watermelon!
Lizzie McGuire
Lizzie McGuire (played by Hilary Duff) is the thirteen-year-old protagonist of the Disney Channel original series with the same name. Lizzie is a fairly average teenage girl, navigating school and life with her best friends Gordo and Miranda by her side. What sets Lizzie apart is her animated alter ego, who often breaks the fourth wall to speak directly to the audience and voice Lizzie’s inner thoughts. Whether you choose to recreate cartoon Lizzie or her real life counterpart, this is a fun chance to bust out all of the quirky ’90s accessories you may have stowed away out of embarrassment. So grab your bell bottoms and your platform sandals, and strut your stuff with your favorite glitter lip gloss. The ’90s are back!
Babs Bunny from Tiny Toon Adventures

Daisy Duck
Daisy Duck is a classic Disney character. She is Donald Duck’s girlfriend. She also is Minnie Mouse’s best friend, and together they share a love for fashion and style. Daisy is the more assertive and sassy of the two, which allows her to scold Donald’s temper tantrums. While she may have an explosive temper of her own, she is much better at controlling it. Like the other classic characters, Daisy appears in The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Mickey Mouse Cartoons, as well as the parks and merchandising.
