Hiyori Iki from Noragami

The life of Hiyori Iki (Bryn Apprill / Maaya Uchida) first intertwined with Yato’s and Yukine’s when she unwittingly “saved” Yato from being hit by a passing bus. Now, whenever she falls asleep, her soul can leave her body in the form of a half-Phantom with a pink “lifeline” tail. This state won’t last forever, but Hiyori uses the time she has to defend her supernatural friends from matters going on way over her head.

This costume guide combines elements from two Hiyori outfits: her school dress and her outerwear — the latter of which is much easier to recreate from items you’ll likely find in your own closet.

Judy Jetson from The Jetsons

Judy Jetson (voiced by Janet Waldo) is the daughter of Jane and George, and older sister of Elroy.  Judy is a typical teenager, with many of her interests revolving around boys and her electronic diary DiDi.  Judy wears bright pink clothes and has white hair.  By trimming a long white wig with side swept bangs to be shorter, and pulling it into a high ponytail, you can recreate this look.

Shinno from Her Blue Sky

Shinnosuke “Shinno” Kanamura left is hometown 13 years ago to pursue his dream as a musician. He planned to leave with his girlfriend, but she had a sudden responsibility that made her stay. Now, Shinno is heading back to his hometown. The younger version of Shinno from 13 years ago (depicted above) also appears in town while he is there. This younger version of Shinno turns things upside down in Her Blue Sky (Sora no Aosa o Shiru Hito yo).

willow park from the owl house

Willow Park from The Owl House

Willow Park (voiced by Tati Gabrielle) is a talented witch on the Disney Channel series The Owl House.  Willow is friends with Gus and Luz, and she has a natural affinity for plant magic. Once on the abomination track, Willow now follows the plant track at Hexside.  Willow’s costuming is very classically elven in nature, consisting of green underlayers, black boots, and a cowl.

Hector from Castlevania

Hector (played by Theo James) in the Netflix animated series Castlevania is a young and often naive devil forge master. Once he was one of two human generals within Dracula’s army. Carmilla tricked Hector into leaving Dracula’s castle and becoming part of her promised new army. Unfortunately for Hector when things come apart at the seams he is made Carmilla’s prisoner and brought back to Styria only to be thrown in a dungeon. Later Lenore, Carmilla’s sister, strikes a deal with him he can not refuse.

This Hector costume is from the later seasons where he is enslaved by Carmilla and not wearing his traditional forge master attire. He is also without his hammer. The costume is very simple and would work great as a couple costume with someone dressed as Lenore for any cosplay event.

Doug Dimmadome from The Fairly OddParents

Doug Dimmadome is a minor recurring character in The Fairly OddParents. He’s the owner of the Dimmsdale Dimmadome as well as other businesses and properties in Dimmsdale. His ten gallon cowboy hat comically gets larger with appearance. Sometimes he’s portrayed as an antagonist. His catchphrase, spoken with a Southern drawl, is: “I’m Doug Dimmadome, owner of the Dimmsdale Dimmadome!”

Smile from Words Bubbling Up Like Cider

Smiles wears a mask to hide her front teeth and braces. She is a popular video star that talks about seeking fitness. One day, an incident sparks her friendship with a quiet boy named Cherry. Smile connects with Cherry the way she can’t with others in Words Bubbling Up Like Cider (Cider no You ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru).

Jimmy from Ed, Edd, n Eddy

Jimmy from Ed, Edd, n Eddy

Jimmy (voiced by Keenan Christensen) is the neighborhood “soft” kid. He’s prone to tears, acts more delicate than he is, and inspires either protective instincts or the urge to tease. It all depends on who he’s talking to. Of course that’s only part of Jimmy’s personality. Under the surface is a devious and clever mind that you don’t want to get on the bad side of!

Cosplaying as Jimmy requires a little bit of DIY. For his hair you’ll either have to style your own hair using some serious pomade or you’ll want to use a blonde wig styled with something like an overdone pompadour in the front. Some heavy-gauge wire, a glue gun, and a plastic headband will recreate Jimmy’s iconic headgear. And after that all you need is a blue long sleeve shirt, cargo pants. and black shoes. After that it’s all about attitude and you’ve got the perfect Jimmy cosplay!

Kugaha from Noragami

Kugaha from Noragami

Kugaha was one of Bishamon’s many shinki (soul-weapons), and used his presence in the immense crowd that is her collection to take her down from the inside! Not even Bishamon’s Blessed Shinki, Kazuma, caught on until it was almost too late. Kugaha’s function in Bisha’s “family” of lost souls was that of doctor/healer; he had an arsenal of medicines and poisons to keep his mistress under his control.

Kugaha’s costume is surprisingly easy to assemble using very simple garments. The most complicated part, perhaps, is his headband; it can be recreated using the last three items on this list.
