The Nerd’s appearance consists of a yellow button down shirt, black tie, white leg pants rolled at the cuff, and black shoes. He wears his hair parted off center and slicked down and dons a pair of glasses.
The Winter King from Adventure Time
The Winter King (voiced by Brian David Gilbert) is the ruler of the Winter Kingdom in Adventure Time. The Winter King presents himself as kind and genuine, however, this turns out to be just a way for him to hide his true personality from others. He transfers the negative effects of the crown to Princess Bubblegum. The Winter King has light blue skin and white hair. He wears a gold crown, oval glasses, and carries a sword. His clothes include a white button down, skinny black tie, and a blue suit with a checkered waistcoat. He always wears tall blue boots.
Mikhail (Misha) from The Case Study of Vanitas
Mikhail [Misha] (voice in Japanese by Mikako Komatsu and in English by Bryson Baugus) is one of the main partial antagonists in the latter part of the anime/manga series, The Case Study of Vanitas by Jun Mochizuki.
He is Vanitas’ younger brother, despite not being blood related, and the two of them were test subjects for artificial vampirism at the same time, before being rescued by the Vampire of the Blue Moon.
Misha has short, shaggy white hair, and very light blue eyes. He wears a peacoat styled military-like jacket in blues and blacks, with a black, off-shoulder, capelet worn to one side to slightly hide his metal hand. The jacket is worn over very small black shorts, and he wears diamond patterned gartered socks, over top of fancy detailed grey and blue shoes.
Aidan from Argylle
Argylle is a new spy movie by Matthew Vaughn and follows Elly Conway, an author who’s novels begin to mirror the actions of a real spy organization, and she has to try and get ahead to stop it. Someone that turns up to save Elly is a spy named Aidan, played by Sam Rockwell.
To dress like Aidan, wear a brown faux leather jacket, or a brown corduroy jacket, with a white tee, relaxed fit blue jeans, and a brown messenger bag.
Jacob from Abbott Elementary
Jacob is a character in the school comedy series Abbott Elementary, and is played by Chris Perfetti. Jacob is a history grade teacher at the elementary school in the series. He is an awkward but genuine and supportive character, as well as good friends with Janine.
Jacob’s wardrobe consists of lots of brown tones and flannels. He often pairs a flannel printed or plaid dress shirt with a blazer. Another look of his is a green teal bomber jacket with a cream turtleneck and brown pants, and always a blue lanyard for his school ID along with the other teachers at Abbott.
Samekichi from Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea
Samekichi is one of the main characters in the pixel horror game (and manga adaptation) Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea.
He was the first one to become one of Wada’s familiars and cares for her very deeply, even though he ends up having to try and push her away to keep her safe from his twin brother, Sal. Like the rest of the familiars, he is animal based, with his being a shark. He is able to shift between both the humanoid version, and his shark form at will.
Samekichi has blueish grey shaggy hair, worn partially in his face, and just past his chin, with a notched shark fin sticking out of the top. His eyes are also a deep shaded blue, with a grey overtone to them. His usual outfit consists of a light grey undershirt, with a black jacket with a white fur trim over top, and dark greyish-black pants with his shark tail coming out of the back. It’s finished off with a metal anchor necklace to represent his connection to Wada, a black belt, dark gloves, and black heeled shoes with blue soles.
Ada from Lamb
Ada is a character from the A24 film called Lamb. Lamb is a fantasy/horror film that takes place in rural Iceland. A couple there discovers an unnatural newborn lamb in their sheep barn that is a human and sheep hybrid, and decide to take in the lamb as their own.
This character would make for a hilarious and clever costume for movie fans, especially those who enjoy horror and A24. For the past few years we have seen A24 themed costume parties pop up in viral videos around Halloween every year, especially when people get super creative, so this would be a great one for that. To dress like Ada, wear a lamb/sheep mask or hat with ears, a wildflower crown, a navy raincoat and blue cable-knit sweater to create this recognizable look from the film.
Idate/Orca from Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea/Ice Scream
Idate is a secondary antagonist (and general nuisance) in the pixel horror game Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea, and a more key character in the interactive web-based game Ice Scream, both created by Deep Sea Prisoner/Funamusea.
He is a humanized orca (and does have an animal form), and likes wandering around and bothering other characters in the media he’s in, to the point of violence and harassment. He loves cigarettes and cannibalizing other creatures around him, even if only in parts.
Idate has very fluffy chin length black hair, with a fin sticking up out of the top, and white spots mirroring his orca form along the top of his hair, matching the orca tail coming from his back. His eyes are tiny black dots in large white scleras. His usual outfit is a black blazer and matching slacks, worn over a dark grey button-up shirt, and occasionally tied with a black tie, depending on the art. The outfit is finished off with black gloves, black heeled shoes (though in some shots it looks like he’s wearing slippers), and he’s often, if not always, seen holding a cigarette, as he’s very dependent on them.
Rotty from Alice’s Warped Wonderland/Alice in Distortionworld
Rotty (the small spotty one in the image) is a minor character in the video game Alice’s Warped Wonderland/Alice in Distortionworld.
He plays a very small part, as he only appears in one area, but he is a child-like character that is made of rotten bread, hence the name. There are other bread-men characters within that section of the game, but he is the only one that looks like that, the others are alarmingly buff.
Rotty has dark eyes (in game, though his chibi form looks a bit different) and his entire body is comprised of bread with several mold spots, and he doesn’t wear clothes (Ken doll-esque). The main prop-type piece he’s seen with, in the brief part of the game he shows up in, is a large fork.
Guy from Umbrellas of Cherbourg
Umbrellas of Cherbourg is a French musical film from 1964, and is directed by Jacques Demy. This colorful film follows Genevieve who works at a local boutique that sells umbrellas as she meets Guy, a mechanic who later becomes drafted and their relationship is tested.
Guy has a classic menswear style but is unique in that his outfits include bright pops of color. One look that can be easily recreated includes a khaki raincoat worn over a blue pinstriped blazer, and underneath that a pink button down shirt with a navy printed tie. Another is a brown blazer with a bright blue teal shirt.
