Anthony McCoy (played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is the main protagonist of the Nia DaCosta directed Candyman film.  Set twenty years after the original, the new Candyman revolves around Anthony, a visual artist, and his art gallery director girlfriend Brianna Cartwright.  Anthony, intrigued by the legend of the Candyman, creates a mirror-themed art exhibit, though it doesn't do as well as he'd like.  What follows is a horrific transformation decades in the making.  Anthony wears a number of outfits throughout the movie, though some of the most memorable include his paint-stained coveralls after he creates a series of portraits and his burgundy beanie.
