Flynn Rider

Flynn Rider is a main character in Disney’s Tangled. He is a scoundrel and a thief, and all the wanted posters can never get his nose right. He tries to steal Rapunzel‘s tiara, but she coerces him into taking her to see the floating lanterns. Surely enough, he falls in love with Rapunzel, and realizes his new dream is to be with her. Despite Mother Gothel interfering, Flynn helps the lost princess reunite with her family and reclaim her title. Unlike a typical prince, Flynn is rugged and witty. His real name is Eugene Fitzherbert, yet he goes by Flynn Rider, a fictional swashbuckler from his bedtime stories. He’s voiced by Zachary Levi, who you may know as Shazam.

Princess Yue

Princess Yue is a character in Avatar: The Last Airbender. She was the sixteen year old princess of the Northern Water Tribe. When the Avatar crew arrive at the North Pole, Sokka becomes smitten with her beauty. The two pursued a romantic relationship despite her betrothal to a Northern warrior named Hahn. When Admiral Zhao tries to conquer the kingdom, Yue led Aang and Katara to the Spirits Oasis so he could enter the Spirit World. Kissing Sokka goodbye, she sacrificed herself to the Moon Spirit to stop Zhao from rendering all waterbenders powerless. Sokka never forgot Yue, and she returned in her spirit form to help Aang reconnect with his past lives.

Alligator Loki

Alligator Loki is among the many Loki variants in the Disney+ show Loki. Our version of Loki meets them with his other variants, such as Boastful Loki, Kid Loki, and Classic Loki. When they’re under attack, they bites off President Loki’s hand. Many fans have dubbed him “Croki” — though that insinuates he’s a crocodile.

Ant-Man, aka Scott Lang, is a character in the Marvel universe. Scott Lang starts out as a convict, but he ends up becoming a superhero who must save the world. With the mentoring and technology of Hank Pym, he becomes the new Ant-Man. His abilities include shrinking and growing, as well as communication with ants. Beloved and never-aging actor Paul Rudd portrays this role, bringing a lighthearted sense of humor.

The Watcher

The Watcher (voiced by Jeffrey Wright) is a recurring character in the Marvel show, What If…? on Disney+. He starts each episode by explaining the many realities of the multiverse and introducing himself as the Watcher. He possesses abilities such as energy-manipulation and clairvoyance. But he never shares his origin, as he exists outside space and time, watching the events of different universes unfold. The Watcher never interferes, but when Ultron-Vision finds his observatory haven and threatens all realities, he must break this rule.

Ali Abdul from Squid Game

Ali Abdul (Anupam Tripathi) is a character in the Netflix Southern Korean survival drama, Squid Game. He is Player 199. Ali moved to South Korea from Pakistan with his wife and infant son, and he worked at a migrant factory prior to entering the games. Well-intentioned and gracious, Ali is friendly towards Seong Gi-hun and Cho Sang-woo. Unfortunately, Sang-woo tricks him in the marble game, which shows people will take advantage of the nice ones, especially in a game of survival.

Ji-Yeong from Squid Game

Ji-Yeong (Lee Yoo Mi) is a character in the Netflix South Korean survival drama, Squid Game. She is Player 240. The audience first sees her sitting on the stairs while the players assemble their teams for Tug-of-War. Kang Sae-Byeok approaches her and says to join her team. They become friends and later pair up for the game of marbles. Rather than play immediately, the girls wait to the end so they can live longer. Introducing herself, Ji-Yeong shares that she was recently released from prison for killing her abusive father. She purposely loses the marble toss so Sae-Byeok can move forward, as she has a better purpose to win. In a tearful goodbye, she thanks Sae-Byeok for playing with her before getting shot in the head.

Cho Sang-woo from Squid Game

Cho Sang-Woo (Park Hae Soo) is a main character in the Netflix South Korean survival drama, Squid Game. He is Player 218 as well as the childhood friend of Seong Gi-Hun, who’s quite shocked to find him in the games. This is because Sang-Woo graduated from a prestigious business school and was destined for success. What they doesn’t know is that her son abused company funds and has a warrant for his arrest. Not even his mother, who sells fish at the local market, knows the truth. Unlike his friend, Sang-Woo will do whatever it takes to win the prize money, even if it means resorting to murder and betrayal.

The Joker (Alan Tudyk) is the main antagonist in DC Universe’s animated series Harley Quinn, which now streams on HBO Max. Of course he rules Gotham as the clown prince of crime and rival to none other than Batman. At the start, his girlfriend is Harley Quinn. Although Harley realizes his obsession with Batman overshadows their romantic relationship. She dumps the Joker so she can stop relying on him and prove herself as a villain. When she joins the Legion of Doom, the exes turn to rivals. The Joker becomes a major character in season two when his evil plans come to fruition.
