He is a member of Team 8, under Kurenai Yuhi, alongside Hinata Hyuga and Kiba Inuzuka. He can control bugs that live inside his body as part of his clan’s special technique. Members of the Aburame clan are known for wearing dark glasses that obscure their eyes, and Shino is no exception. In the original series, he also wears brown pants and a grey-green jacket with a high collar that covers his mouth. When creating your costume, try to find a jacket with a high-stand collar. In the later episodes of Shippuden, Shino wears a green hooded jacket with a black shirt beneath instead having the collar that covers the lower portion of his face. A cowl neck zip-up can serve this purpose well. During the Fourth Shinobi War, he also wears a Konoha standard-issue flak vest. No matter which version you choose, don’t forget your forehead protector, kunai pouch, sandals, and round sunglasses.
J. Robert Oppenheimer from Oppenheimer
J. Robert Oppenheimer (played by Cillian Murphy) is the titular protagonist at the heart of Christopher Nolan’s film Oppenheimer. The primary physicist responsible for the creation of the atomic bomb, Oppenheimer’s life included no shortage of drama including an affair with Jean Tatlock during his marriage to Kitty, and many inquiries into his political affiliations and ideologies. The Manhattan Project of which Oppenheimer was a part took place in the 1940s, so your costume should evoke a vintage silhouette as much as possible. Oppenheimer wears several different suits throughout the movie, often favoring grey and brown shades. He also owns a rather unique belt buckle that is silver with turquoise. To recreate his look from the film, choose a brown or tan suit, with a matching tie, shoes, and flat-brimmed hat. Add a belt with a fancy buckle, a pipe, and a wedding ring. Lastly, you can recreate his round identification badge by writing “K-6” on a plain white button.

While finding an exact match might be difficult, plenty of options exist that are very similar, so choose your favorite. You’ll also need white hand wraps and athletic tape, and you can use a pair of open-toed grip socks to protect your feet. Baki is covered in scars from his hard years of training, and you can use scar wax to recreate these. Depending on how many you decide to wear, you may need extra wax. Choose a concealer in your skin tone (the one linked comes in many) to conceal the edges. Finally, use a black eyebrow pencil to add your beauty mark and you’re ready for a fight!
