Olive from Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

Olive is one of the characters in the film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, based off of the book by Ransom Riggs. This movie is directed by Tim Burton and it definitely is fitting in its style. Olive is played by Lauren McCrostie. The movie is about a boy named Jacob we follow through the story as he is transported into the past where a home of orphans with special powers live.

Olive is one of the children at the home and her special power is the ability to create fire in her hands. To dress like Olive, wear a pink floral printed dress, white heels, black gloves to mimic her fire-resistant ones, and a shawl.

Brennan Huff from Step Brothers

Brennan Huff from Step Brothers

In Step Brothers (2008), Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell) is a 39 year old still living at home depending on his mother. When she marries a widowed father, Brennan must come to terms with his new 40-year-old step brother Dale. Initially they’re fierce, territorial rivals, but soon discover that they’ve become best friends.

Fuyumi Todoroki from My Hero Academia

Fuyumi (voiced in Japanese by Kei Shindō and in English by Kate Oxley) is a secondary character in the anime/manga series My Hero Academia.

She is the second oldest of the Todoroki siblings, and the only daughter. Despite having a quirk like her brothers (hers being ice only), she didn’t go towards a hero profession and instead became an elementary school teacher.

Fuyumi looks very visually similar to her mother, with long white hair, though it’s flecked with red stripes from her dad’s color. Her eyes are turquoise in the manga, but they were changed to gray in the anime. She has a wide variety of outfits she’s seen in throughout the series, but they’re all relatively in the same style. For this one she wears a white polo shirt, a deep burgundy open front cardigan, slate grey slacks, a black belt, and white and grey-blue sneakers.

Tigris from The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes

Tigris is a character from the new Hunger Games film: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and is played by Hunter Schafer. The Hunger Games series of films are based off of the original books by Suzanne Collins. This film takes place 64 years before the original Hunger Games we know. In this new film, we get to see Coriolanus Snow at 18 years old who is assigned to mentor Lucy of District 12 as the 10th annual Hunger Games approaches. Tigris is the cousin of Coriolanus Snow and lives with him in The Capitol. She has an interest and talent in fashion and helps Snow with some of his outfits as well as being there for him emotionally throughout the story.

One look Tigris wears is this all-pink suit costume. To recreate this, wear a pink blazer, pink pencil skirt, pink v-neck blouse, a pink hair fascinator, and blue heels. Add lots of pink blush to complete the look.

Venetia from Saltburn

Saltburn is a new film by Emerald Fennel that follows Oliver Quick as he stays in his rich classmate Felix’s estate, and a series of horrifying events occur. Venetia Catton is Felix’s sister and has a fling with Oliver at, and is played by Alison Oliver. She’s a character with lots of personality and at first seems shallow until we get to know her character more.

To create Venetia’s iconic pink look for yourself, wear a glittery purple dress or jumpsuit, pink cat-eye sunglasses, and layer over it a pink fun and party-ready tinsel jacket.

The Unknown

The Unknown is the nightmarish antagonist in the AI-generated script for the disastrous “Willy’s Chocolate Experience” in Glasgow, Scotland. What was advertised as an immersive experience took place in a sad, sparsely decorated warehouse. It’s became a viral sensation, with pictures of the event, including the Sad Oompa Loompa, circulating everywhere online. People are already planning their 2024 Halloween costumes around the fiasco, so this guide has you covered.

Chrollo Lucilfer from Hunter x Hunter

I have previously covered the disguise that Chrollo wears in the York New arc in another article, so this one will be focusing more on one of his more regularly worn outfits.

While the other look was meant to help him blend in during the auction and get on Neon Nostrade’s good side in order to manipulate her into giving him the fortune readings he was looking for, this is how he is more commonly seen while interacting with the rest of the Troupe members.

He wears the same teal bulb earrings as in his disguise, but in this outfit he wears his hair slicked back, revealing the tattoo on his forehead. His undershirt is black with a intricately detailed crisscrossing pattern, with a similar ribbon-crossed pattern on his matching pants, and a light tan belt worn off-center across the top of the pants. The main feature part of his outfit is a long black coat with an extremely over-exaggerated fluffy white trim around the collar, as well as the cuffs, and there is a large St. Peter’s cross embellished on the back. The shoes he wears with this outfit are black with large decorate gold pieces that match the ones worn on the shoulder regions of his coat.

“Sad Oompa Loompa” Actress

This now viral picture shows an actress dressed as an Oompa Loompa from the disastrous “Willy’s Chocolate Experience” in Glasgow, Scotland. What was advertised as an immersive experience took place in a sad, sparsely decorated warehouse with original villains like The Unknown. It’s became a viral sensation, with pictures of the event circulating everywhere online. Fortunately, the woman pictured, Kirsty Paterson, sees the funny side of it – and is okay with people dressing up as her for Halloween. People are already planning their 2024 Halloween costumes around the fiasco, so this guide has you covered.
