Frozone

In The Incredibles, Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson), aka Lucius Best, is a long-time friend of the Parr family and also a superhero. His power is to freeze water on demand, and would probably get along alright with Iceman.

Philip J. Fry

In Futurama, Philip J. Fry (voiced by Billy West) is a slacker pizza delivery boy who becomes cryogenically frozen and reawakens in the 31st century… to work as an interstellar delivery boy. Aside from his work, he only has eyes for the ship captain Leela.

Leeloo

In the Fifth Element, Leeloo (Milla Jovovich) is a Supreme Being who becomes The Fifth Element. She escapes from the lab where she is reconstructed and falls (literally) into Korben Dallas’ life. Together they must retrieve the four elemental stones in order to stop the Great Evil from destroying Earth.

Ma-Ma

In Dredd, Madeline Madrigal (Lena Headey) works her way up the dystopian Peach Trees apartment complex, killing her pimp and becoming the resident kingpin Ma-Ma. Through her violent gang, she controls every inch of Peach Trees and uses it to manufacture drugs.

Dora the Explorer

Dora the Explorer is a girl who goes on adventures with her talking purple backpack and anthropomorphic monkey named Boots. Sounds like quite the trip.

Ness

In the role-playing game EarthBound (released in Japan as Mother), Ness is a young boy who possesses powerful psychic abilities. He uses whatever he has on hand to fight enemies, including his baseball bat and yo-yo.

Aquaman

Aquaman hasn’t gotten much screen time like the other DC Comics superheroes but he’ll finally make an appearance in Batman v Superman. As his name suggests, Aquaman has telepathic control over sea life and can manipulate water to his advantage.

John Connor

In the Terminator series, John Connor leads a resistance to fight robotic Terminators that have taken control in the future. He’s portrayed by different actors in each sequel but the youngest version (Edward Furlong) is the most memorable – probably because he taught the Terminator to say “Hasta la Vista, Baby!”

Paula Polestar

In Earthbound (released as Mother in Japan), Paula Polestar is the first character to join Ness. She also has psychic abilities and her weapon of choice are frying pans.

Daring Do

In My Little Pony, Daring Do is a female pegasus similar in appearance to Rainbow Dash. She has a talent for exploration and adventure, which explains the safari getup and compass cutie mark.
