Indiana Jones from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

Indiana Jones in the new 2023 film Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is played by Harrison Ford. This film is a continuation of the original Indiana Jones films and is the fifth and final installment of the series. This one follows Indiana Jones, a daring archaeologist as he races to retrieve a dial that could change the course of history, alongside the female lead of the film Helena Shaw.

Indiana Jones in this film dresses very close to the original costumes in the first films, with some slight changed to the color palette and some details. He wears his iconic brown hat, brown leather/suede jacket, a brown button down shirt, brown-gray pants, a prop whip, and a green and brown messenger bag. This would be the perfect costume for an older Indy!

In SpongeBob SquarePants, Perch Perkins is a famous field reporter at the Bikini Bottom News. His appearance changes throughout the TV episodes and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, switching back and forth from orange to purple tones. In multiple instances it’s hinted this is the result of his vanity, with suggestions that he smears on purple makeup and wears a toupee. For this costume, pants need not apply.

Claud from The Rat Catcher

Claud is from the new short film by Wes Anderson: The Rat Catcher, and is played by Rupert Friend. Wes Anderson has released a series of four short films on Netflix that are based on the stories of Roald Dahl. The Rat Catcher is about an English Village where a reporter/editor and a mechanic named Claud listen to a rat catcher as he outlines his plan to catch a rat.

Claud wears a pair of blue mechanic-style overalls, a white button down shirt, white tie, yellow socks, and blue Adidas sneakers. Add a name tag patch and pens to the front pocket to complete the costume.

Lou Sapphire from Living Dead Dolls

Lou Sapphire is from the second series of Living Dead Dolls. His name is a play on Lucifer, if you say it quickly.

He has wide, grey-shadowed, black, red, and white mixed colored eyes, short black hair worn in an intense widows peak, with little devil horns peaking out of the top. He wears a red silk button-up shirt with a black tie, a black suit jacket and matching pants, with a red silk pocket handkerchief, black and red shoes, a red devil tail, red gem ring, and a skull staff.

Julien Baker from Boygenius: The Film

Boygenius, a band that consists of singers Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker. They recently released their new album The Record and created, as well as starred in, a short film of three music videos directed by Kristen Stewart called The Film. The three songs featured are $20, Emily I’m Sorry, and True Blue. The artists wear similar outfits throughout all three videos, but each are unique to each person. In the final song True Blue, they paint a room completely blue and end up with it on themselves, which can be recreated with fabric paint, acrylic paint, and blue face paint for the skin.

To dress like Julien Baker in the video, wear a white sweater, black jeans, and to add more you can layer an orange safety vest like she wears during the first two songs in the film.

This is when Jamie realizes she has the opportunity to team up with the 16-year-old version of her mother to unmask the killer and change the course of history.

Deadbra Ann from Living Dead Dolls

Deadbra Ann is from the second series of Living Dead Dolls, and has several motif references both in appearance and in her backstory from various Stephen King novels — most notably prom queen Carrie. She is also the first doll in the series to have a face wound.

She has extremely vibrant blue eyes, done up with prom makeup and purple bruising, her mouth is ripped to the side, extending up to the rest of her face, and her hair is a mixed color copper bob. Ann wears a red frilly, lacy, sleeveless prom dress, her nails are painted black, and she has a white silk sash that says Danse Macabre. Her accessories are a white rose bouquet splattered with blood, and an ornate gold crown.
