Hayden Christensen from Revenge of the Sith (BTS)
Hayden Christensen appears in behind-the-scenes footage in the Darth Vader costume during the filming of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Revenge of the Sith is Episode III and takes place three years into the Clone Wars, and we follow Anakin as he embraces the Dark Side. This look in particular would make such a fun and niche costume or cosplay that others may not think of, and dedicated fans might recognize.
The costume features the iconic Darth Vader costume, but without the helmet. Instead of the helmet, Hayden wears a black Nike sweatband on his head.
Pooh from Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey
After Winnie-the-Pooh entered the public domain on January 1, 2022, Rhys Frake-Waterfield set out to write, produce, and direct a gory horror film based on the property. In Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, an adult Christopher Robin returns to Hundred Acre Wood after a 5 year absence. He finds the land desolate and the creatures starving and feral. Pooh and Piglet ambush Christopher and his wife, dragging them into the woods.
Mickey from Mickey’s Mouse Trap
With Disney’s copyright on the classic cartoon Steamboat Willie expiring, creators wasted no time taking advantage. On the very day the Mickey Mouse short entered the public domain – January 1, 2024 – a trailer for a horror slasher called Mickey’s Mouse Trap dropped, continuing the tradition of the previous year’s Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey. In the film, a killer masked as Mickey Mouse (Simon Phillips) stalks victims at a late-night birthday party in an amusement park. To take your costume from mascot to monster, cut out or black out the eye holes of your rubber Mickey mask.
Sasori from Naruto
Sasori (voiced in Japanese by Takahiro Sakurai and in English by Johnny Yong Bosch) is part of the main group of antagonists in the latter half of the Naruto series.
He is a member of the Akatsuki, and his specialty is puppetry, up to the point where he himself has a puppet body. His partner in the Akatsuki is Deidara, the explosives expert.
Sasori (in this form) has shaggy, short red hair and brown eyes. He wears the same Akatsuki cloak as the others, but instead of wearing the same mesh shirt, because of his puppet body he goes without it. His torso is segmented, with a canister in the right side of his chest, and an open hole in the center where he stores a poisoned corded tail, and he has bladed metal wings seated low on his back. For the rest of his outfit, he wears similar pants to the others but with a white waistband across the midsection, and then the same white spats over his ninja sandals. His nails are painted a dark teal color and he wears a deep blueish purple ring with the Kanji ‘gyoku’ on it.

He plays a major role in the revenge plan against Regina George. Jaquel Spivey will portray Damian in the 2024 remake, based on the original movie and Broadway musical of the same name with a Gen Z twist. Fortunately, they kept his iconic sunglasses and blue hoodie – “she doesn’t even go here!”
Pump Wonder from Spooky Month
Pump Wonder (voiced by Sr Pelo) is one of the two protagonists of the YouTube series Spooky Month. Alongside his friend Skid, Pump enjoys celebrating spooky season, and the pair find themselves constantly mixed up with monsters, murderers, and other scary fiends. Pump wears a full-head pumpkin mask. His clothing is black and white, evoking the look of a simplified tuxedo. To recreate his look, layer a plain white tee under a black suit, and then add a pair of white gloves and black shoes.
Angus from The Holdovers
Angus is a character from the new film The Holdovers, and is played by Dominic Sessa. The film follows an instructor, Paul Hunham at a New England prep school as he is tasked to watch the students that are remaining on the campus during Christmas break.
Angus, as well as the other characters, sticks to a pretty neutral color palette in his wardrobe. The textures and colors are very cozy and warm with lots of layers that gives us the feel of the cold season they’re in. Angus wears a brown puffer jacket with bootcut blue jeans, gray/ muted brown socks, and brown ankle boots. Another is a burnt orange wool sweater layered over a blue button down shirt.
Deidara from Naruto
Deidara (voiced in Japanese by Katsuhiko Kawamoto and in English by Roger Craig Smith) is part of the main group of antagonists in the latter half of the Naruto franchise.
He is the youngest member of the Akatsuki, and specializes in clay creations and explosives, in combination. Throughout his involvement with the Akatsuki, he was partnered with Sasori, and later on, Tobi.
Deidara has long, golden hair, worn partially up in a very high ponytail, with the bangs parted heavily over one side, draping all the way down to his chin, over his missing-nin designated slashed Iwagakure headband. His visible eye is a light blue, and the other one is often covered by (in addition to his hair) a long-range scope. He wears the standard Akatsuki cloak, as well as a dark tank-top over a mesh one, elastic cuffed capris in the same shade, white spat wrapped ninja sandals, and a blue-ish teal ring with the kanji ‘sho’. Around his waist he wears pouches filled with clay that he uses with the mouths on his hands and chest, and the look is finished off with black nail polish on his fingers and toes.

Paul wears a typical professor costume when teaching that consists of a brown corduroy blazer, gray sweater vest, white button down, and red bow tie. Otherwise he dresses more casually with a warm wool gray coat, a gray plaid/ tweed fedora, with a brown button down under the coat.
