Fredwynn from Dispatches From Elsewhere
Fredwynn, played by Andre Benjamin, is a smart guy, but also paranoid with conspiracy. He, along with a few other everyday people, discover a world hidden in plain sight. He’s participating in a game at JeJune Institute. Fredwynn solves puzzles and searches for what’s missing in his life in Dispatches From Elsewhere.
Vernon Boyd
Vernon Milton Boyd IV, known as simply “Boyd,” is a character in MTV’s Teen Wolf. He worked at the local ice rink. As a student at Beacon Hills High School, he was known as a loner and ate lunch by himself. Derek Hale befriends him and gives him the bite, inducting him into his pack. He develops a close relationship with his fellow beta, Erica Reyes. While known as the muscle, Boyd is quite resourceful. In season three, he creates a plan to stop the Alpha Pack. He floods Derek’s loft with water and throws in a live wire. However, one alpha cuts the power and forces Derek to kill Boyd, resulting in one of the most shocking and tragic deaths on the show. Boyd was played by Sinqua Walls.
Dr. Laszlo Kreizler from The Alienist
Dr. Lazslo Kreizler (played by Daniel Brühl) is the criminal psychologist at the center of The Alienist. Kreizler provides expert testimony for the police force when required to determine whether a person should be remanded to prison or asylum, or be returned to their daily life. Kreizler also operates an institute for abandoned children. He enlists the help of his friend John Moore and the first female employee of the NYPD, Sara Howard, as he attempts to track down a serial killer. Kreizler dresses in fine black Victorian suits and jackets, and he uses a cane.
Sora from Someday’s Dreamers II
Sora Suzuki leaves her countryside town of Bei for a magic internship in Tokyo. To honor her late father, Sora spends her summer working towards her mage license. She’s learning what city life and city people are like as she makes new friends in Someday’s Dreamers II (Mahou Tsukai Ni Taisetsu Na Koto ~Natsu no Sora).
Lizzo in “Juice”
Blame it on the juice! This iconic outfit is from the music video of the hit song “Juice” by Lizzo. The successful hip hop/soul artist rocks a hot pink 80s style workout fit. Currently, the song has nearly 300 million streams on Spotify and the official video has nearly 70 million views on Youtube.
Shuri
Shuri is a main character in Marvel’s Black Panther. She is the innovative mastermind behind Wakanda’s advanced technology. She is also the younger sister of T’Challa, or Black Panther. Even though she enjoys teasing her brother, she deeply cares for him. After Killmonger’s victory, Shuri and Queen Ramonda stop at nothing to revive T’Challa and restore him as the righteous Black Panther. She then fights alongside the Dora Milaje to save Wakanda. She is portrayed by Letitia Wright in the movie.
Prince Naveen
Prince Naveen is a character in the Disney movie The Princess and the Frog. He is the Prince of Maldonia. He takes pride in his looks and charm, but he is spoiled and lazy. As a result of his antics, his parents cut him off, and he finds himself down on his luck. Therefore in visiting New Orleans, he hopes to marry a wealthy girl. After taking the deal from Dr. Facilier, Naveen gets turned into a frog, and only a kiss from a princess can break the spell. Tiana tries to kiss him but gets turned into a frog herself. At first, his immaturity turns her off, but he learns to take responsibility and help those in need, which leads to their romantic relationship. Realizing they need each other, they marry and become human again.
Entrapta
Entrapta is a supporting character in the Netflix series She Ra and the Princesses of Power. She is the princess of Dryl. Despite having no magical powers, she knows a lot about technology and can use her pigtails as extra limbs. After accidentally being abandoned by the Princess Alliance, she became a member of the Horde. The princesses then find her banished on Beast Island and recruit her with the Rebellion for good. Entrapta is bubbly and cheerful, yet she often gets distracted by tech. After realizing that her actions can affect others, she grows closer with the other princesses. Creator Noelle Stevenson has confirmed that Entrapta is on the autism spectrum.
Takeshi from Altered Carbon
Takeshi Lev Kovacs (original face played by Will Yun Lee) is a former member of the Colonial Tactical Assault Corps. Through a series of events, he becomes a fugitive and mercenary. His cortical stack is stored without a body to be used for missions. In season 2, Takeshi wakes up 30 years later in a new body (new face played by Anthony Mackie). Takeshi comes to work with a younger version of himself in Altered Carbon season 2.
Braeden from Teen Wolf
Braeden (Meagan Tandy) is a character in MTV’s Teen Wolf. While her identity is unknown at the time, she first appears in the third season. She saves Isaac and leaves a message for Allison and Lydia. However, in the following seasons, Braeden becomes a recurring character. She is a mercenary for hire, paid by both human and supernatural beings to protect or capture others. Her main mission is to track down the Desert Wolf. Braeden is rarely intimidated and knows how to use a range of weapons. She develops a romantic relationship with Derek Hale. Her most notable feature is the scars across her neck from the Alpha Pack’s attack. You can recreate them with scar wax and spirit gum.
