Diane from Lumberjanes
Diane (also known as Artemis in some circles) used to be one of the Lumberjanes’ enemy. She eventually saw the light, however, and now she’s firmly on the Lumberjanes’ side.
In addition to being an incredibly powerful goddess, Diane is also a great closet cosplay. A black wig is really the only piece that might be considered costume-specific but it’s also a versatile item that can match many different cosplays. Gold hoop earrings and bracelets as well as a purple headband serve as Diane’s accents while her outfit consists of a purple shirt, a tan vest, tan cargo shorts, white socks, and hiking boots.
April from Lumberjanes
April is one of the main characters from the comic series Lumberjanes. Best friends with Jo, April is incredibly headstrong and a big fan of making puns. She carries a diary with her everywhere so she can scribble notes and sketch the creatures she encounters. April wears dark cropped leggings under pink shorts with a light green blouse and purple jacket, making for a fun and colorful costume.
Jo from Lumberjanes
Jo is one of the main characters in the comic series Lumberjanes. Jo is lifelong best friends with April and is a natural leader, with a love of science who enjoys creating inventions. With an affinity for STEM subjects and adventure, Jo attends space camp. Jo’s style consists of a striped shirt, red sweatshirt, and durable jacket for all her outdoor adventures.
Molly from Lumberjanes
Molly is one of the main characters of the comic series Lumberjanes. Molly is a skilled archer who also enjoys knitting, mythology, and puzzles. Bubbles, the raccoon that sleeps on Molly’s head is a friend she made the first day of camp. Molly is Mal’s girlfriend, and their personalities often offset one another. Molly wears cargo shorts and a two-tone green shirt and styles her blonde hair in a braid. Rather than have a wild animal sleep on your head, a raccoon cap can achieve a similar effect.
Ripley from Lumberjanes
Ripley is the youngest and most energetic of the Lumberjanes crew. She often launches herself toward danger without hesitation, which can sometimes cause trouble for the older members of her cabin, Jo, April, Molly, and Mal. Ripley’s outfit consists of a long-sleeved shirt layered under an orange tee, with red and white athletic shorts and tube socks. Her hair, which was long when she first arrived at camp, is cut short with a dyed patch at the front after she gets bubblegum stuck in her hair.
Mal from Lumberjanes
Mal is one of the main characters of Lumberjanes. In the comic series, Mal is a creative thinker who plays guitar and roller derby. She is Molly’s girlfriend and her cautious nature is often in juxtaposition to her more adventurous partner. Mal’s outfit consists of dark ripped jeans, a red plaid shirt, and grey denim vest. She sports an edgy undercut and multiple earrings, as well as red bracelets.
Esther from Giant Days
Esther de Groot is meddlesome in the lives of her friends and others. It’s really from her love of a good plot. Esther likes English literature, which is how she became an English major. She prefers a goth style to her look. Despite being a tad dramatic, her friends know Esther is a loyal person who protects those closest to her. Esther is trying to survive college in Giant Days.
