Greendale Human Being
In the hit sitcom Community, the Greendale Human Being is the school mascot for Greendale Community College. Created by Pierce Hawthorne and Dean Pelton, they are a genderless, anthropomorphic, non-offensive “being.” With the black fabric marker, draw two black dots for the eyes and a wide smile on the zentai mask.
Dean Pelton
Dean Craig Pelton (Jim Rash) is a main character in NBC’s sitcom Community. He is the well-meaning, yet bumbling dean of Greendale Community College. He strives to restore the prestige and seriousness of the school in spite of paintball wars and blanket and pillow forts. He has a obvious crush on Jeff Winger. Regarding his sexuality, gay “doesn’t even begin to cover it” and makes up “approximately two sevenths” of what he is. He also has a weird fetish for dalmatians. Given his vast costume collection, Dean Pelton can be considered a cosplayer himself! This guide includes one of his best known costumes from the iconic payday rap.
Inspector Spacetime and Constable Reggie
Inspector Spacetime and Constable Reggie appear in the fictional British sci-fi series, Inspector Spacetime. Very similar to Doctor Who, the Inspector and his companion, Reggie, travel throughout time and space in a telephone box. The show exists as a show within a show in the NBC sitcom Community, where Troy and Abed cosplay these characters to the Halloween party and at an Inspector Spacetime convention. No Inspector is complete without their constable, so grab your best friend for this duo cosplay!
Troy and Abed in the Morning
In the comedy series Community, best friends Troy Barnes (Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino) and Abed Nadir (Daniel Pudi) host a talk show called “Troy and Abed in the Morning!” Usually filmed inside Group Study Room F, the show is in a typical morning talk show format. But of course Troy and Abed are poking fun at the genre. Their bromance is clear through their cheery sarcasm in this recurring segment adored by the fans of Community,
Cool Cats from Community
In “Celebrity Pharmacology,” the thirteenth episode in season two of Community, the group must perform an anti-drug skit at a middle school. Annie writes the script and assigns the roles of the “Cool Cats” to Jeff (Joel McHale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs). They’re laid-back, detached, and of course, cool. You can either be Jeff or Britta, and grab a friend or partner to complete the pair. This is a simple, yet original couple cosplay that any fan of the show will recognize.
