Boba Fett from The Mandalorian

Boba Fett (played by Temuera Morrison) has seen the rise and fall of some of the greatest powers in the galaxy. And by the time of The Mandalorian both his armor and his view of the world reflects that.

While fans of the wider Star Wars universe might remember Boba’s armor from better days, it’s in fairly rough shape by the time he appears in the Disney+ series. Whether new or old, Boba Fett’s armor does not come cheap. Several Etsy sellers have options available, one of which is listed here. This particular seller has several price points available that can either include or leave out the jet pack.

Once you have the armor, you will need the pieces that go underneath it. A long sleeve black shirt in a breathable fabric is perfect on Tatooine while a white gambeson makes a great foundation for the upper body armor. The one pictured above is black but it can be ordered in white and the sleeves are attached with cording so they are easily removed, as is the additional length on the bottom. You will also need black gloves and loose black pants in addition to black boots. Boba Fett is also bald which you can either recreate with a bald cap or leave out by sticking with the helmet or putting your own spin on Boba Fett’s look.

TVA Loki

Tom Hiddleston has been in the MCU almost from the beginning and Marvel fans the world over know him best as Loki. Loved by many, hated by some, he can be a divisive character. Tortured and manipulated by Thanos, maligned by most of his adoptive family, and eventually having his character essentially reset after the events of Endgame, Loki is a complex character that fans cannot wait to explore in his new Disney+ series.

The official trailer has already ignited the cosplay urge in some fans. Loki’s active Time Variance Authority (TVA) work clothes are of particular interest and with a little DIY the look is absolutely possible to pull off. Even better, many of the pieces can be used in other cosplays! And fans know that sort of glamour work is right up Loki’s alley.

You’ll want to start with a shoulder length black wig in Loki’s trademark style. For the main body of the costume you will need a brown windbreaker, brown slacks, black shoes, a black leather belt, and a white button down shirt. Loki’s only two obvious accessories are the orange TVA patch on his coat and his striped tie. You can get the patch on Etsy but the tie will take a little bit of DIY.

Start with a base tie in light brown. Use acrylic paint in gold, bronze, and dark brown to add the stripes. Be sure and add the hourglass in gold to one of the dark brown stripes as well. The acrylic will make the tie stiff but it will also stick to the fabric and the color should be more vibrant. Do a test patch on the part of the tie that goes under your collar first, however. If the colors aren’t bright enough, use white paint as a base for the stripes and then paint the colors on top of that.

With your tie done and your patch in place, you’re ready to check out time variants of your own.

Sisu from Raya and the Last Dragon

Sisu from Raya and the Last Dragon

Goofy and lovable with a penchant for rhyming, Sisu the dragon (voiced by Awkwafina) has numerous magical abilities, including transforming into a human. Her outfit seems like it was practically designed with us cosplayers in mind! Sisu and her newfound friend Raya embark on a quest to unite the fragments of a powerful dragon orb that protects the five divided kingdoms of Kumandra from evil spirits.

Princess Raya from Raya and the Last Dragon

Raya Kelly is the main character in the latest Disney+ film, Raya and the Last Dragon. Voiced by Kelly Marie Tran, whom you may recall portrayed Rose Tico in the recent Star Wars movies, Raya is a warrior princess who must find the last dragon, Sisu, to save her home from a dangerous plague. She is headstrong, mature, and adaptable, all traits that make her a capable leader of the group. However her biggest flaw is a reluctance to trust others. In addition to master martial arts, she utilizes kali sticks and her whip sword to battle enemies. Her pet is Tuk Tuk, a giant creature who resembles a hybrid of a pug, armadillo, and pill bug. Raya makes history as Disney’s first Southeast Asian princess.

Agatha Harkness from WandaVision

“It was Agatha All Along!” Finally, as many WandaVision fans expected, Agnes reveals herself to be Agatha Harkness. In the Marvel comics, she was the original witches from the Salem Witch trials, and mentors Wanda in real magic. The show seems to follow that storyline, as episode eight begins with a flashback to Agatha getting tried by her coven before wiping them out with dark magic. She breaks into Westview to try and figure out how Wanda is causing this Hex. The episode concludes with a full reveal of Agatha’s costume that was teased in the “Agatha All Along” opening, as well as the reveal of Wanda utilizing Chaos Magic, making her The Scarlet Witch. Since this outfit is pretty intricate, this guide includes some pieces for an inspired look. Layer the knit shirt over the collar and the dress, and then layer the capes for a similar feel.

Tommy and Billy from WandaVision

Tommy and Billy from WandaVision

Tommy (Jett Klyne) and Billy (Julian Hilliard) are the twin boys of Vision and Wanda Maximoff. They’ve grown from babies to boys in only a matter of days. And there’s no telling what’s on the horizon for these two boys when their comic origins are just as unbelievable as their MCU origins!

The boys adapted their comic costumes for their Halloween costumes in the sixth episode of WandaVision. Tommy dressed in a variation of his uncle Pietro’s costume which makes sense since he sees himself as a smaller version of his uncle. Jeans cut off at the knee, blue running pants, a blue t-shirt layered over a blue long sleeve shirt, and running pants make up the core of his outfit. Silver reflective tape creates the lightning bolt on his chest while silver hair spray rounds out his costume.

Billy’s costume is an adaptation of Wiccan’s comic costume. A blue band holds back his brown hair while a long red length of fabric doubles as a rough cloak around his shoulders. A long sleeve grey shirt and grey sweats with black shoes finishes off the look.

Wanda in WandaVision

Pietro from WandaVision

Pietro’s appearance in WandaVision was one of the biggest shocks in a show built on leaving the viewers confused. And just like everything else in the show, his appearance brought more questions than it answered. The biggest of which was why Evan Peters’ Pietro showed up at Wanda’s door and not the brother she actually lost who was played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

While Quicksilver’s face might be what Marvel fans expected, his Halloween costume was at least close. Based off his original comic costume, it’s just what you’d expect a speedster to throw together on the fly. The best part is that it’s easy to put together your own too!

Denim cutoffs (made using the jeans listed above) layered over blue compression pants match the blue long sleeve shirt worn under a blue short sleeve shirt and make up the majority of the costume. The silver lightning bolt on Pietro’s chest can be copied with iron-on reflective silver tape while hair gel styles a grey wig into the wings he styled his own hair into. Finish off the look with a white belt and white running shows and you’re ready to go!
