Goofy
Gawrsh! Goofy is an animated Disney character and one of the Sensational Six. Childish yet good-natured, he is Mickey’s good friend (not to be confused with Mickey’s pet dog, Pluto). As his name describes, he loves to make jokes and gags, though his clumsiness lands him into the occasional trouble. In A Goofy Movie, we find out he has a son named Max, where he’s a still silly but well-meaning parent. His signature guffaw sounds like “a-hyuck!” You can use black face paint for your nose, and you can wear a pair of light blue jeans if you’re not feeling the chinos.
Powerline from A Goofy Movie
Powerline (voiced by Tevin Campbell) is the larger-than-life musician idolized by Max Goof in Disney’s A Goofy Movie. In a bid to impress his crush Roxanne, Max tells his classmates that he and his father will be performing on stage with Powerline at an upcoming concert. The ruse derails the father-son road trip Goofy actually has planned, culminating in a wild and emotional ride for them both. Powerline’s character and performance style were influenced by some of the biggest rock stars of the age including Michael Jackson and Prince. To recreate his look, you’ll need a yellow jumpsuit and black boots. A fine-tipped fabric paint applicator can help you add the nuclear-looking design on the front of his uniform. Most importantly, don’t forget to belt out I 2 I while busting a move.
Roxanne from A Goofy Movie
In Disney’s A Goofy Movie, Roxanne (voiced by Kellie Martin) is Max’s high school crush. She’s the total package — beautiful, popular, and kind. Even though Max is rather unpopular, Roxanne also has a crush on him, although she’s too shy to say anything about it.
Goofy from Goof Troop
Goofy is the single father of Max Goof. He and Max move next to the Petes from their trailer home in the city. Goofy’s biggest weakness is that he has trouble paying attention, he has a short attention span, and is scatterbrained. He’s also very accident-prone and clumsy. He often drives his neighbor, Pete, up the wall. Goofy is laid back, and many times turns the other cheek when Pete insults him (or just doesn’t realize he’s been insulted), though a very few times he does get angry and gets back at Pete, when the offense goes far enough.
