Adrian Shephard from Half-Life: Opposing Force
Colonel Adrian Shephard is the main protagonist of the video game Half-Life: Opposing Force. Colonel Shephard is a member of the United States Marine Corps sent to Black Mesa Research Facility to help eliminate alien invaders. Shephard wears white camo with a green tactical vest, camouflage helmet, and a gas mask. To recreate his mask, you can use some window tint film to update a cosplay mask with clear lenses, which is much easier to find.
John Freeman from Half-Life: Full Life Consequences
John Freeman is a character created as part of a fanfiction story written for the Half-Life video game franchise. John is the brother of Gordon Freeman, the scientist players become when they play the game. The poorly written fic was given new life when it was adapted into a five-minute YouTube video. John’s character design is based on Citizen 07 from the original game, and he wears and fingerless gloves and a dark grey beanie paired with a grey vest and jeans.
Barney Calhoun
Barney Calhoun is a playable character in Half-Life: Blue Shift, and a major character in Half-Life 2 as well as Episode One. Starting out as a security guard at Black Mesa Research Facility, he eventually joins the Lambda Resistance and works as a mole in the Combine Civil Protection Forces.
Alyx Vance
In Half-Life 2, Alyx Vance is a brilliant hacker and mechanic who is a close friend of Gordon Freeman. She helps Gordon by providing weapons and fighting alongside him. She owns a robot named “Dog”, which she built herself.
Gnome Chompski
Gnome Chompski is a garden gnome who likes to make unlikely appearances in video games, including Half-Life 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and the Final Hours of Portal 2. As far as we can tell, there’s no relation to the famous linguist.
