Viola from The Witch’s House
Viola is the main playable character in the 2012 RPG Maker pixel horror game, The Witch’s House.
She is described as being very trusting, much to her downfall, as Ellen takes advantage of that to live a better life through her.
Viola has golden blonde hair, worn down in two loose braids, tied at the ends by red ribbons, and her eyes are a dull green. She wears a full-skirted blue dress with a red trim along the base, a white full coverage apron with a large white bow in the back, and brown open-top boots.
Vanny from Five Night’s at Freddy’s
Vanny (voiced by Heather Masters) is the primary antagonist of the video game Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach. She is a follower of Glitchtrap and it is heavily implied that she is Vanessa under Glitchtrap’s control. Vanny has two appearances in the game. Primarily, Vanny wears a stitched-together rabbit costume with a tartan patch on her left hip and a blue bow at her throat. Her rabbit mask has menacing red eyes. You can recreate this look with a replica mask and bodysuit and add bunny foot-shaped slippers if you want. Alternately, you can embellish a plain white bodysuit with fabric markers to get a little closer to her look in the game, just don’t forget to purchase a bow tie, too. Vanny also appears in a sidescrolling game called Security Breach: Fury’s Rage where her appearance is a bit different. For this look, you’ll need grey leggings, white bike shorts, and a grey tank top layered beneath a black belt worn low on your hips and a furry vest. Finish your costume with white knee-high boots, black arm bands, white fingerless gloves, and a creepy rabbit mask.
Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil 4 Remake
Leon S. Kennedy (voiced by Nick Apostolides) is a main character in the Resident Evil franchise. In the remake of Resident Evil 4, Leon is tasked with rescuing Ashley Graham from a cult in a secluded European village. Along the way, he receives help from Ada Wong and Luis Serra. Leon’s look in the remake of the game is similar to his appearance from the original iteration with some small changes to make him look more realistic and modern. Leon’shair is a bit shaggy, parted off center. He wears tactical pants, a tight-fitting dark navy shirt, and combat boots. His accessories include tactical gloves, a shoulder holster, thigh holsters attached to a tactical belt, and plenty of weapons.
Amanda from Amanda the Adventurer
Amanda (voiced by Blair Greene-Osako) is the titular character of the indie horror game Amanda the Adventurer. Alongside her sheep companion Wooly, Amanda explores the world around her while the player slowly realizes all is not what it seems. Amanda wears a yellow shirt, turquoise shorts, and yellow sneakers with purple socks. Her hair is styled into two puff balls.
Luis Serra from Resident Evil 4 Remake
Luis Serra (voiced in RE:4 by André Peña) was an employee of the Umbrella Corporation who was recruited into Los Illuminados when he left his job there. Eventually, he defects and leaks his research to the same organization that employs Ada Wong. His costume in the Resident Evil 4 Remake is more complex than his original, including an ombre jacket with gold detailing. You can purchase a replica coat for your costume, or if you’re feeling crafty and don’t mind a more interpretive version, you could always purchase a solid color jacket and add your own gold details with some leather paint. Luis has wavy black hair and also carries a Luger pistol.
Ada Wong from Resident Evil 4 Remake
Ada Wong (voiced in the Resident Evil 4 Remake by Lily Gao) is a long-standing character from the Resident Evil franchise. The remake of RE4 updates Ada’s original look to include a shorter dress and thigh-high boots instead of the long embroidered dress with a thigh split from the initial fourth installment of the video game series. For Ada’s accessories, you may need to be a little creative, combining harnesses and holsters to get her look just right. Don’t be afraid to wear your shoulder harness backward so the clip is in the front, since the aesthetics are more important than performance.
Ashley Graham from Resident Evil 4 Remake
Ashley Graham (voiced in RE:4 by Genevieve Buechner) is the former President’s daughter. Her look in the Resident Evil 4 Remake is very similar to the one she originally donned, but updated to look a bit more chic and polished. Ashley has honey-blonde hair worn in a bob haircut and her costume consists of grey tights, brown boots, a green plaid skirt, and a golden yellow sleeveless turtleneck. She pairs her outfit with an orange blazer, a silver brooch, and a silky scarf in shades of pink and peach.
Embry G. Oliver from It’s Not Me, It’s My Basement
Embry G. Oliver is the protagonist of the horror game It’s Not Me, It’s My Basement. After their parents are eaten by the monster in their basement, Embry takes over feeding the creature by making it sandwiches. Embry lies to their neighbors about the whereabouts of their parents, claiming they are very ill. When Dr. D. Light attempts to help Embry and their parents, he meets an untimely end, too. Embry has long, messy white hair and wears green bunny slippers, pink striped pants, and a burgundy turtleneck sweater. Their apron has a yellow star on the chest with a red and green stain on the lower portion, which you can recreate with a little bit of paint.
Dr. D. Light from It’s Not Me, It’s My Basement
Dr. D. Light is a character from the horror game It’s Not Me, It’s My Basement. Dr. D. Light tries to help Embry, who has told their friends and neighbors that their parents are very ill. What he comes to discover, however, is a much darker secret involving a monster in Embry’s basement. Dr. D. Light’s appearance is based heavily on those of a medieval plague doctor. The simplest way to recreate his look is to purchase a plague doctor costume set, which will come with a hat, hood, gloves, and a long jacket with a cowl. Replace the plague mask with a round white mask. With a little paint, some markers, and a dose of creativity, you can alter the mask to look more like the one from the game. Lastly, use a sun-shaped charm and jewelry cord to make the Doctor’s necklace.
