M3gan
M3gan (voiced by Jenna Davis) is the titular life-like doll at the heart of horror film M3GAN. Created by robotics engineer Gemma as a companion for a young girl named Cady, M3gan soon begins to take on a terrifying life of her own. To recreate M3gan’s look, you’ll need to embrace the deceptively innocent children’s doll appearance with white tights, black mary janes shoes, and a collared dress. If you want to take the toy-like aesthetic a step further, try using a doll makeup tutorial to help capture M3gan’s wide-eyed appearance.

Gwen Blake from The Black Phone
Gwen Blake (played by Madeleine McGraw) is the sister of Finney Blake in The Black Phone. Gwen experiences psychic dreams that shed light on The Grabber and his previous victims. Gwen wears a variety of 70s-inspired fashion choices, often favoring hues of red and yellow that run the spectrum. When recreating some of her looks, remember it’s okay to be a little interpretive, since it’s unlikely you’ll find exact copies of these vintage fashions. For her pinafore dress, you can look for one with similar colors or patterns to layer over your turtleneck. If your hair isn’t long enough to braid, a brown wig can be fashioned into pigtails instead.
Bee from Bodies Bodies Bodies
Bee (played by Maria Bakalova) is a main character in the horror comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies. Bee is dragged by her girlfriend Sophie to a hurricane party at a swanky mansion owned by David‘s parents. There, she participates in a murder mystery party game that soon turns deadly. Bee has blonde hair and wears black shorts with a graphic printed tee layered over a black long sleeve shirt and under a blue button-down. At one point, she changes her clothes and borrows a pink cable knit sweater from the absentee lady of the house to replace her blood-stained shirts.
Melanie Cross from “Mayhem”
Melanie Cross (Samara Weaving) is a character in Mayhem, a movie that blends horror, comedy, action, and commentary on corporate evil. She is a client of Towers and Smythe Consulting who pleads for more time on a loan. Their lawyer, Derek Cho, turns her away and calls security on her. When the ID-7 virus spreads through the office, Derek and Melanie end up locked away together as a result of resisting security. They fight, but eventually they decide to work together to hold the higher ups responsible. Melanie’s choice of weapons are a hammer, power saw, and a nail gun, as pictured here. When the virus erases her inhibitions, she uses the rejection to fuel her vengeful killing spree.
Alice from Bodies Bodies Bodies
Alice (played by Rachel Sennott) is a podcaster and part of the core group of long-time friends at the heart of the film Bodies Bodies Bodies. Alice loves a good party and spends much of the early part of the film getting high with David. Her new boyfriend Alex becomes a prime suspect once David is found dead, however, and the night quickly spirals out of control from there. Alice wears black pants and strappy heeled sandals, but the most fun part of her costume consists of numerous glow necklaces and bracelets, which she sports throughout the night. Finding a crocheted crop top that exactly matches hers might be tough, so don’t be afraid to choose one that has a similar cut, color, or pattern if you can’t find something that does all three.
Sophie from Bodies Bodies Bodies
Sophie (played by Amandla Stenberg) is a troubled 20-something at the heart of the A24 film Bodies Bodies Bodies. Along with her girlfriend Bee, Sophie travels to her childhood best friend David‘s house to hunker down for a hurricane party. But once the lights go out, the bodies start dropping and it’s impossible to know who to trust. Sophie has blonde braids and wears heavy eyeliner. Her outfit consists of black boots, shorts, and a brightly colored tank top.
Derek Cho from “Mayhem”
Derek Cho (Steven Yeun) is the main character in Mayhem, a movie that blends horror, comedy, action, and commentary on corporate evil. He informs the audience about the ID-7 “Red Eye” virus, which removes all inhibition and moral integrity. In his role as a lawyer at Towers and Smythe Consulting, he found a loophole that won the case of an infected murderer. As he climbed the corporate rankings, Derek began to lose his sympathy, such as turning down Melanie’s plea for loan assistance. But then when a coworker betrays him, he sees the company’s true colors. Refusing to take the blame, Derek gets escorted out by security, where he meets Melanie. Together they work to take down the top bosses through very bloody means.
