Paul McCartney from Help! (The Night Before / I Need You)
Help! is a wacky comedy film from 1965 that follows The Beatles as they are on the run and trying to protect Ringo Starr from a cult that is after him. In between beats in the story, of course they have musical moments where they stop and perform their songs.
Two of these songs that feature this specific costume worn by Paul McCartney are The Night Before and I See You. The costume consists of an all beige suit with matching beige boots and a turtleneck sweater to match. Add a black mop-top wig to complete the look!
The Beatles from “I Feel Fine”
I Feel Fine is a music video and song by The Beatles from 1965. This song was released on the Capitol album Beatles ‘65. This silly music video is in black and white and features all 4 members Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. They each dress similarly with some unique elements to their outfit. George wears a brown turtleneck sweater, black dress pants, and black shoes. You can replace the brown sweater with gray if you’d like to keep the black and white look of the music video itself when doing a group costume. Paul and Ringo wear the same outfit: a black turtleneck, black dress pants, and black shoes. And finally, John wears a black turtleneck, black blazer, gray pants, and black shoes.
