Hannah Montana was the celebrity persona/alter ego of pop singer Miley Cyrus. She had her own show on Disney Channel, which revolved around Miley Stewart, a normal high schooler, by day and Hannah, a teen pop sensation, by night. Some of her famous songs include “Best of Both Worlds,” “Rock Star,” and “Nobody’s Perfect.” Her massive success resulted in two movies: one following her concert and the other as a conclusion to the show. She is known for her signature blonde wig. Later on, she made music as both Hannah and Miley, before just going by Miley. This makes a great throwback or Disney nostalgia costume.

Taylor Swift is an American singer/songwriter. From “Love Story” to “You Belong with Me,” her songs narrate her personal and romantic life. She started out as a country singer, but her current music fits more of the pop genre. Taylor is one of the world’s best selling music artists and the highest earning female musician of the 2010s. Some of her hit albums include Red, Speak Now, 1989, and her most recent album, Lover. As most musicians, Taylor’s style has evolved throughout the years, so we have three looks from each era of her career. Rihanna, or Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is a singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. Her main genres include pop, R&B, reggae, dance, and hip hop. A few of her chart toppers include “We Found Love,” “S&M,” and “Only Girl in the World,” which were all featured on Unapologetic, her first number one album. Rihanna is also an accomplished businesswoman. She is the founder and owner of the Clara Lionel Foundation, the FENTY fashion line, and the Fenty Beauty makeup brand. From the start of her decades-long career of pop stardom, Madonna embraced a scandalous, envelope-pushing image. As tame as it looks through modern eyes, Madonna’s penchant for wearing cropped tops, short skirts, and singing about “sensitive” topics like virginity raised eyebrows in the 1980s. She unabashedly titled her debut concert tour The Virgin Tour, and wore this lacy, white getup consistent that turned the culturally traditional bridal aesthetic completely on its head.

MC Hammer is the stage name of Stanley Burrell, an 80s hip hop artist known for his smash hits “U Can’t Touch This” and “2 Legit 2 Quit”, which feature his flashy dance moves and ultra baggy pants that came to be known simply as Hammer Pants.
