rupaul’s drag race
Sasha Velour
Sasha Velour is a drag queen, artist, actor, and television producer. She won the ninth season of Rupaul’s Drag Race. Out of drag, Velour identifies as gender fluid and uses she/they pronouns. With her signature bald head, her avant garde drag defies gender constructs. She hosts her own drag show “Nightgowns” in Brooklyn, New York, as well as her one-queen theatrical work, Smoke and Mirrors. In this guide, we show you how to recreate her RPDR entrance look. Use black liquid liner for the accentuated brows and finish the makeup with red lipstick.
Tayce in “Memory” from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 2
Tayce is a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season two. Known for her incredible makeup skills and fashion sense, Tayce is a fierce competitor. In the confessionals, some of her remarks have quite the edge. She was nominated as “Trade Minister” by her fellow competitors, meaning they find her the most attractive. She is currently still in the competition as a part of the top five. This outfit is from the second episode’s lip sync to “Memory” from CATS. Tayce serves this lipsync with her striking beauty and intense emotion, sending Cherry Valentine home, and making this an iconic moment in the show’s her-story.
IQ Kitty from RuPaul’s Drag Race
IQ Kitty is a character from the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars. In episode six, the contestants must perform as a girl group called The Kitty Girls. Trixie Mattel, a contestant, and the eventual winner of the season, creates the character of IQ Kitty. Paint on a heart in the middle of the dress with the white fabric paint, and draw the pi symbol with black Sharpie. Obviously you’ll need a lot of makeup to achieve this look. Follow this makeup tutorial from Trixie Mattel herself.
Katya Zamolodchikova from RuPaul’s Drag Race
Katya Zamolodchikova is an American drag queen and former contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race. She appeared on Season 7 and placed fifth, though she won the title of Miss Congeniality. Then Katya returned or All Stars 2 and placed in the top three. She is a favorite among the fans for her eccentric looks and quirky sense of humor. She co-hosts “Uhhhhh” and its spinoff “The Trixie and Katya Show” with fellow season 7 alumni Trixie Mattel. This costume guide depicts her entrance look for season 7, and it clearly shows her Russian persona. We suggest adhering the rhinestones to the corset with E6000.
