Tiny Tina from Borderlands (2024)
Borderlands is a movie based off of the original video games. It follows a bounty hunter that joins a team of misfits who fight monsters and bandits together.
Tiny Tina in the film, like her original character, has a quirky unique look with patchwork and lots of personality. To dress like Tiny Tina, start with a floral long-sleeve shirt at the base. Take the sleeve up to a bit above the elbow of a gray flare sleeved sweater, then attach this right above the elbow of the floral shirt. Don’t worry about having perfect seams in this costume, as it’s supposed to look scrappy. Over this, wear a color-block pastel t-shirt and cut it off at the center of the chest, or right under the sleeves. Take a brown striped tshirt and cut it off the same point, then attach the bottom half of the brown shirt to the rest of the pastel one. For pants, wear orange joggers/ sweatpants under a gray circle skirt. At the waist, wear a holographic or dark fanny pack. Attach the smiley button on one side of your shirt. For the headband, you can buy a custom on Etsy or 3-D print, but another clever option is to take futuristic prop sunglasses, and wear across your forehead. If it’s too loose, attach some elastic or pin in your hair. You could even use some string or whatever scrappy piece you find. For the ears, either wear a bunny ears headband or cut the ears off and attach them to the headband, while keeping in mind it may weigh it down slightly. Add a pink bandaid to your nose and use some temporary hot pink color to add streaks in your hair. You can also wear a yellow rain jacket over it all. If the costume looks too bright for you take some watered down brown acrylic or fabric paint and distress your costume layer by layer, focusing at the seams. You can also run over them with sandpaper.

Natalie from the A Minecraft Movie (2024) Trailer
Natalie is a character from the new Minecraft (2024) movie trailer, and is played by Emma Myers. Minecraft is a live-action film adaption of the very popular video game, Minecraft.
To dress like Natalie in the trailer, wear a blue cardigan over a gray graphic tee and a green floral maxi skirt. Pair with any shoes or boots and jewelry. For those who want a more exact re-creation of the graphic t-shirt, start with a blank gray shirt. From here you can either start with iron-on transfer material or paint straight on the shirt, where you may want to sketch the circle first. For the transfer paper, create a similar gradient and simply cut out and iron onto the shirt. For painting directly on it, start with a solid layer of white paint as the base using fabric paint (this may take multiple layers). Once dry, paint over with orange and yellow fabric or acrylic paints.
Steve from A Minecraft Movie Trailer
In the long-awaited trailer for 2025’s A Minecraft Movie, Steve (Jack Black) makes his entrance, declaring “I… Am Steve”. Despite his fiery introduction, people have been left underwhelmed, feeling the blue shirt costume is a symptom that this film’s nothing more than a low-effort cash grab. Whether the theatrical release lives up to the legacy of Minecraft remains to be seen.
Steve Raglan from Five Nights at Freddy’s (2023)
Steve Raglan (played by Matthew Lillard) is a career counselor who helps Mike Schmidt secure a job as a security guard in the horror film Five Nights at Freddy’s, based on the video game of the same name. Steve wears gold wire-framed glasses and has a greying beard. He wears mostly bland colors (think pale yellows and browns). While you may not be able to find an exact match for any of his shirts from the film, a yellow and blue striped button-down with a blue Swiss dot tie or a brown plaid shirt with a burgundy and black striped one will do the trick. Finish your costume with a goatee, which you can apply using spirit gum and grey out a bit with some mascara, and khakis.
Alessa Gillespie
Alessa Gillespie (Jodelle Ferland), although not present on screen most of the time, is the heart and soul of each Silent Hill video game and movie installment. Chosen to birth God, an evil demonic entity, Alessa’s soul splits during the ceremony into a “dark” and “light” Alessa. Dark Alessa creates the Silent Hill world, filling it with terrifying and brutal creatures born out of her pain and suffering during the ritual. Despite eventually merging her two halves, Alessa’s soul continues to be drawn into the Silent Hill world. This guide describes her childhood school uniform, an outfit that appears in multiple games.
