Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch from Multiverse of Madness
Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch, is a character in Doctor Strange 2: Multiverse of Madness. The movie occurs after the events of WandaVision and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Despite trying to cope on her own, Wanda becomes tempted and corrupted by the Darkhold, a book of evil magic. She spirals into an obsession to get her kids back, leading her down a path of destruction and murder, ultimately painting her as the antagonist. Doctor Strange and others try and put a stop to her wrath and protect America Chavez, but can they succeed? Put some black eyeshadow on your fingers to make it look like you’ve been meddling in some dark magic.
Wanda Maximoff from Avengers: Age of Ultron
Wanda Maximoff (played by Elizabeth Olsen) is one of the most powerful women in the MCU. Long before she squared off against Thanos, though, she was an experiment for the Hydra scientist Baron von Strucker. She and her brother Quicksilver both gained abilities after agreeing to be von Strucker’s test subjects. Wanda can move things with her mind, create force fields, and, when angry, rip nearly anything apart. The color of her energy earned her the nickname Scarlet Witch, which is also reflected in the clothes she wears. She heavily prefers the colors red and black. She also tends to wear several layers of jewelry, never content simply with one ring or necklace. She generally wears her long auburn hair down but is sometimes known to pull it back in a high ponytail. Wanda also prefers dark eye makeup and red lips with otherwise subtle makeup. She is not the type to trust easily and tries not to use her powers in too obvious a fashion unless absolutely necessary.
Marvel Civilian Disguise
Are you a well-known superhero looking for intel while incognito? A celebrity crime fighter just trying to have a quiet lunch out on the town? Then the “I’m Just a Civilian” starter pack is for you! In almost every Marvel movie, one of our cherished Avengers dons a baseball cap, a hoodie, and a pair of sunglasses to blend in with their surroundings. Depending on whether you are trying to emulate Tony Stark’s Iron Man, Steve Rogers’ Captain America, or another member of the team, you can play around with the color of your hat, your glasses, and what you wear beneath your hoodie or jacket. This is a great way to use your favorite superhero t-shirt as part of a simple–but clever–costume.
Wanda Maximoff from the WandaVision First Look
Wanda Maximoff (played by Elizabeth Olsen) is one of the longest-standing women in the MCU. And after suffering the loss of both Tony and Natasha in Endgame as well as her brother Pietro and her lover Vision in earlier movies, fans weren’t certain how Wanda would handle her grief. The answers, it seems, will come in the Disney+ show WandaVision. And while details are sparse, a Super Bowl ad gave fans a few teasers. Wanda and Vision appear to be reunited and living in domestic bliss that spans several decades. Wanda’s costumes change to fit the times but the two that stand out to most viewers are her ’80s “new mom” outfit and what appears to be a Halloween costume based of Scarlet Witch’s comic canon outfit, as seen above.
