This live action version of the beloved animated film is a fun and refreshing new take on the original. Prince Eric’s costume that he wears throughout the movie closely resembles the one from the original film. Not to mention his iconic flowy white shirt and riding boots. He wears lots of deep blues, with red details like the button holes on his vest. He wears the perfect costume for a prince at sea!

Ariel from the new Disney 2023 film, The Little Mermaid is played by Halle Bailey. This live action version of the beloved animated film is a fun and refreshing new take on the original. Ariel is just as stylish on shore as she is under the sea! On land she wears a frilly light ocean blue dress that is perfectly fit for a princess. The details in her costumes throughout the film reflect the theme of the sea and all things underwater. The light and airy ruffles on her dresses remind us of waves, and the ruching resembles patterns on fish. Other than blue, she also has lots of pink details.
