Carbon Costume

Johanna (voiced by Daisy Haggard) is a main character in the graphic novel and animated series Hilda.  She is the mother of the titular blue-haired girl, Hilda, at the heart of the story.  Johanna moves herself and her daughter to Trolberg from the wilderness so Hilda can have a more normal childhood.  Johanna has short brown hair and often wears a burgundy sweater, brown pants, and white sneakers.

Toji Fushiguro is a character in Jujutsu Kaisen. He is also known as the infamous assassin, the Sorcerer Killer. He is Megiumi’s father and a former enemy of Satoru Gojo. A former member of the Zenin family, he has zero cursed energy and cannot be detected by Jujutsu sorcerers. Instead, Toji exhibits a mastery over various weapons, which he stores in the curse around his shoulders.

Trevor (voiced by Reece Pockney) is a boy who lives in Trolberg, the town where the titular Hilda moves with her family in the graphic novel and animated series that bear her name.  Trevor is rude and sometimes unkind, stopping at nothing to prove he saw a talking raven when his friends don’t believe him.  He wears an orange striped hat and orange scarf, with a purple-ish grey jacket, black pants, and grey boots.  You can choose either a jacket or a sweatshirt for your costume, depending on your preference.  Look for a hat with ear flaps and pom pom details in shades of orange, even if it isn’t a perfect match for Trevor’s.

Machi (voiced in Japanese by Rena Maeda and in English by Abby Trott [in the 2011 series]) is part of the main group of antagonists in the Hunter x Hunter anime/manga.

She is member number 3 in the Phantom Troupe run by Chrollo Lucilfer, as well as one of his longest running friendships, having known each other since they were both very young. Her nen speciality is Transmutation and she fights using sewing techniques.

Machi has deep pink hair, worn up in a very messy high ponytail and tied off with a light blue scrunchie, which nearly matches the color of her eyes. Her outfit consists of a white and grey short-sleeved kimino-type top, with a long ribboned deep reddish-purple obi, and a yellow ribbon tied around the center. She wears black, mid-thigh shorts, pinkish-purple leg warmers over top of white tabi socks, and the rest of the outfit is finished off with black, fingerless gloves, and a light yellow pin cushion worn around her wrist.

In The Really Loud House, Charlie Uggo (Bella Blanding) — that’s French — is a girl who transfers to Royal Woods from Tennessee. Lincoln Loud is assigned to interview her for the school TV channel and he promptly develops a crush on her, hoping to ask her to the school dance. Charlie likes to dress is pink, purple, and floral dresses and skirts.

Siobhan Corbyn is a character in the new American Horror Story: Season 12, Delicate, and is played by Kim Kardashian. This season is a psychological thriller and an adaptation of a novel called Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentines. The series follows an actress named Anna Alcott trying to become a mother while facing someone she believes is trying to stop her.

Siobhan Corbyn has a sleek and professional style with lots of black pieces. One look you can recreate is the brown corset-style top paired with black wide-leg dress pants. Another is a black sleeveless dress and a burgundy or brown long leather jacket and gold hoop earrings.

Shiki Granbell (voiced by Takuma Terashima and Sean Chiplock) is the protagonist of the manga and anime series Edens Zero.  Shiki comes from the planet Granbell where he lives amongst robots.  He can manipulate gravity.  Shiki has spiky black hair and dons a bandage on his face.  His outfit consists of black boots, green pants, and a white shirt with burgundy striping on the front. He also wears a jacket with the sleeves rolled up.  You can purchase a cosplay set for the costume and then add a wig, boots, and face bandage.  You can also build your own costume with harem pants, a bomber jacket, and a white t-shirt embellished with burgundy paint.

Rhea Ripley is a professional wrestler in the WWE.  Aggressive and strong, Rhea has quickly made a name for herself in wrestling world. To nail Rhea’s look, you’ll need to be comfortable with leather, studs, and the color black.  Her look involves slicked-back black hair, dark lipstick, and heavy eye makeup.  For her costume, start with black fishnet tights, faux leather briefs, and a halter top.  You can add purple wing details to the bottoms with leather paint.  You’ll also need a studded collar and belt, a body harness, and a thigh harness.  Finish the look with combat boots and black wristbands.
