Matron “Mama” Morton from Chicago

Portrayed by Queen Latifah in the Chicago’s film adaptation, Matron “Mama” Morton is the corrupt matriarch of the Cook County Jail. She takes both Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly under her wing, but also fuels the rivalry between them.

Bombshell Poison Ivy

In DC Bombshells, Poison Ivy uses her botanist skills to grow plants in winter and feed the Russians during WWII. She also used her skills to create a perfume to defeat the Nazis, but her skin turned green as a result. In this depiction, she is modeled after 1940’s pinups, complete with victory rolls in her hair. The key to her costume is the ivy accents, so get creative with makeup, temporary tattoos, or floral ivy to complete the look.

Billy Flynn

Billy Flynn is the smooth-talking, highly-sought lawyer who defends the women of Murderesses’ Row in the musical, Chicago. Portrayed by Richard Gere in the film adaptation, Billy Flynn ignites the feud between Velma and Roxie when he chooses to represent Roxie.

Green Goblin (Norman Osborn)

Norman Osborn, otherwise known as the villain, Green Goblin, is the main antagonist in the Spider Man series. Portrayed by Willem Dafoe in the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, Norman Osborn is a capable businessman with a murderous alter ego that manifests itself in the Green Goblin. Since, no commercial costume exists for the film’s rubber suit, save for the mask, you’ll need to get creative with some generic costume armor and metallic green spray paint.

Bombshell Enchantress

In DC Bombshells, Enchantress is part of the Suicide Squad during WWII. Though her powers and abilities still revolve around her magic, her look is reminiscent of the witch archetype that was popularized in the 1940’s. Her costume is a combination of classic witch elements and Victorian fashion. The feather pom poms are a good substitute for energy projection, though green wired ribbon or green crystals will also work well.

Bombshell Stargirl

In DC Bombshells, Stargirl enlists with the Night Witches, a Russian Flying Squadron. She is used as propaganda by the Russians, but she is given a cosmic staff that allows her to fly. Eventually, she is recruited by Mera to join the Allied forces. She is inspired by 1940’s pinups, which includes a victory roll hairstyle and pinup makeup.

Velma Kelly

Velma Kelly, portrayed by Catherine Zeta-Jones in the hit film, Chicago, is a nightclub singer and vaudevillian who is sent to Cook County Jail for murdering her husband and sister. She finds a rival for stardom when Roxie Hart arrives at the same prison and steals her spotlight.

Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio) is the wealthy and extravagant title character in “The Great Gatsby.” A local legend, Gatsby throws luxurious parties for all of Long Island, in hopes of running into his lost love Daisy Buchanan. Gatsby is impeccably dressed, often wearing high-end suits.

Bombshell Supergirl

In DC Bombshells, Supergirl is used as propaganda for Soviet Russia after enlisting in their flight program. Her look is inspired by WWII pinups, so glamour waves or victory roll hairstyles are perfect for capturing her look, as well as classic pinup makeup. The red satin belt is used to tie the corset and skirt together, and the “Superman” patch can be added to recreate her logo.

Bombshell Ravager

In DC Bombshells, Ravager is a prophetic pirate who joins the other members of the Suicide Squad at Belle Reeve Manor. Her look is inspired by pirate pinups, and though the exact color scheme is difficult to find, the essence of the character is easily captured with steampunk fashion and accessories.
