Joe Gardner from Soul
In Pixar’s Soul, Joe Gardner (voiced by Jamie Foxx) is a middle school music teacher who has a lifelong dream of being an onstage jazz performer. It looks like he’ll finally get his big break when he impresses other jazz musicians as an opening act when he has an accident, which causes his soul to separate from his body to get transported to the You Seminar, where he must help souls develop passions before being transported to newborns. Joe’s costume is drab and not too flashy, although his stylish hat hints at the passion brimming underneath.

Wraith from Apex Legends
In Apex Legends, Wraith is an offensive legend who can execute swift and deadly attacks by manipulating spacetime. Wraith uses her special abilities, Into the Void and Dimensional Rift, to reposition her team and flank her enemies. She has a mysterious background, but it is known that as subject 611367, she escaped an IMC Detention Facility for the Mentally Ill with the aid of a Voidwalker.

In Ready Jet Go!, Sydney Skelley is one of Jet’s best friends. Sydney loves sci-fi and using her imagination. She especially loves anything to do with Commander Cressida, about a brave female space captain. Sydney keeps her hair in a bun using a yellow hair tie.
Marisa Coulter from His Dark Materials
In His Dark Materials, Marisa Coulter (Ruth Wilson) is an elegant, sophisticated adventurer who is former lovers with Lord Asriel. She offers to adopt Lyra Belacqua and train her as her protege in London. Marisa’s dæmon is a golden monkey with long fur named Ozymandias.
Aviva Corcovado from Wild Kratts
In PBS’s educational nature show Wild Kratts, Aviva Corcovado is a biomechanical engineer and third in command of the Wild Kratts crew. Aviva is responsible for inventing all of the gadgets, including the Tortuga and Creature Power Suits. Her signature color is purple, and she likes to dress practically from her windbreaker down to her sneakers.

In His Dark Materials, Lyra Belacqua (Dafne Keen) is an orphan girl living with scholars at Oxford. There she discovers a dangerous secret involving Lord Asriel and Marisa Coulter, and soon finds herself in the middle of a cosmic struggle. Lyra, like all inhabitants of her world, is accompanied by her dæmon, named Pantalaimon and who likes to take the form of a snow-white ermine.

In the 2019 Overwatch event Mercy’s Recall Challenge, players can unlock the Dr. Angela Ziegler legendary skin. Compared to the battle armor Mercy wears in her default skin, the Dr. Angela Ziegler skin is a nod to her roots as a medical prodigy who earned her MD and PhD in Switzerland and pioneered the field of applied nanobiology as head of surgery.
Joker from Batman: The Telltale Series
In Batman: The Telltale Series and its follow-up Batman: The Enemy Within, Joker starts as a mysterious patient named John Doe at Arkham Asylum. Joker initially admires Batman’s work as a vigilante and allies with him, but eventually associates with a gang of criminals known as The Pact, and becomes the nemesis we all know Joker to be. His two outfits reflect this transformation.

In the show, Polly Pocket (voiced by Emily Tennant) is a young genius with loves to help people and has a thirst for adventure. Things work out when she inherits the magical locket from her grandmother Penelope Pocket.
