In Blade Runner, Rick Deckard is a seasoned police officer who specializes in “retiring” replicants. He’s called in for one last job when a group of replicants escapes a space colony and goes into hiding in Los Angeles. He begins his investigation at Tyrell Corporation where he meets Rachael.

In Futurama, Turanga Leela is a purple-haired cyclops voiced by Katey Sagal. She works as the captain of Planet Express, which is fortunate because she’s the only competent member of the crew.

In Defendor, Arthur Poppington (Woody Harrelson) is a mentally ill man who adopts the persona of Defendor to fight Captain Industry, who he believes to be responsible for his mother’s death, and generally to make the world a better place.

Colonel Dr. Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett) is a Soviet agent in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull who plots to create psychic warfare for the Russians. She does this by stealing a psychic crystal skull and it’s up Indiana Jones and Mutt Williams to stop her.

In BoJack Horseman, Todd Chavez (voiced by Aaron Paul) is BoJack’s roommate. He slept on BoJack’s couch after a party one day and has lived there ever since. Todd’s been known to have run-ins with a Mexican drug cartel.

In Trailer Park Boys, Julian (John Paul Tremblay) is a career criminal, but one who follows a code. He can also be counted on to have a rum and coke on hand at all times.
