Carbon Costume

Tony Rydinger (voiced by Michael Bird) is a supporting character in Incredibles 2 and a love interest of Violet Parr.  Tony is a student who also works at Happy Platter.  Though Tony’s appearance in the second film is a bit different than in the first, his outfit remains mostly the same.  To create your costume, you’ll need white tennis shoes, brown slacks, and a dark navy blue turtleneck.  If you don’t have hair to match Tony’s, a wig can help you achieve a similar look.

Rosita (voiced by Reese Witherspoon) is part of the ensemble cast of Sing, an animated film that takes place in a world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals.  A weary mother of many children, Rosita decides to try out for a singing competition organized by koala Buster Moon.  She is chosen for the event, but Buster thinks her act needs a little more pizzazz, so he teams her up with enthusiastic performer Gunter.  Though hesitant at first, Rosita learns to enjoy the spotlight and shines during her performance of Taylor Swift‘s Shake It Off.  To recreate Rosita’s stage look, you’ll need to love all things black and glittery.  Start with a long-sleeved bodysuit and black pumps, then layer a fluffy skirt over top.  You’ll also need a balaclava and you can choose to add a pig nose and glittery cat ears to imitate her animal appearance in the film.  Use a pair of scissors to cut the balaclava and skirt to more closely match her costume from the movie.

Tonio Trussardi is a minor character in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. He first appears in the chapter arc “Let’s Go Eat Some Italian Food.” He is a resident of Moiroh and an Italian chef. Tonio runs his own Italian restaurant called Trattoria Trussardi. Josuke and Okuyasu visit the restaurant and notice his outstanding food has the ability to cure their bodily ailments. This is due to his Stand called Pearl Jam, which looks like a cross between a tomato and onion.

Weiss (voiced in English by Kara Eberle and in Japanese by  Yōko Hikasa) is one of the main title characters of the animated series RWBY.

This is the formal dress outfit that she wears in the episode ‘Dance Dance Infiltration’ in Volume 2.

Weiss has long white hair, worn up in a side ponytail and topped with a spiked hair piece. She has blue eyes, one with a light scar across it, and she’s wearing long thin bar earrings. For her formal outfit, she has a white dress with side cutouts and a mesh strap top, and she wears white pumps to finish off the look.

Rusty Rivets (voiced by Kyle Breitkopf) is the titular main character of the Nickelodeon cartoon Rusty Rivets.  A young mechanic and inventor, Rusty creates his own contraptions from salvaged parts.  Rusty has dark blue-black hair that he wears slicked back.  His outfit consists of blue pants, an orange shirt with a lightning bolt design, grey gloves, and grey and teal sneakers with orange laces.  He also wears a grey utility belt and goggles.  For his shirt, you can use black fabric markers to recreate the emblem on the front.  Swap out a dull pair of boot laces with orange ones for an extra finishing touch.

Reim (voiced by Junichi Suwabe) is one of the secondary main characters in the anime/manga series Pandora Hearts.

He serves under the family of Rufus Barma, while working with the Pandora organization, is good friends with both Sharon and Break, and helps the main trio throughout the story. His contracted chain is the March Hare, tying in with Break’s being the Mad Hatter.

Reim has very short light brown hair, with eyes in a similar shade, worn over by gold oval glasses and accessorized by black and gold dangle earrings. He wears the standard black and white robed Pandora uniform, with white gloves, and black boots tipped with metal.

Ruby Rose (voiced in English by Lindsay Jones and in Japanese by Saori Hayami) is the main protagonist of the animated series RWBY.

Ruby has black hair with red highlights, and silver eyes. For this outfit, she wears a red dress with a mesh top and black accents, and a black belt piece. It’s finished off with greyish tights, and black pumps.

Cosmo is a talented inventor from the Space Kingdom in the webcomic Cucumber Quest.  They help Cucumber and Almond occasionally throughout their quest.  Cosmo has black hair and grey skin with pink freckles, which you can recreate with body paint and an eyeliner pen.  They also have a pair of grey rabbit-like ears.  Their clothes consist of a light purple shirt and black leggings under dark blue star-and-planet-themed shortalls.  You can add the cosmic design with some fabric paint yourself.  Accessorize with pink gloves, blue polarized glasses, and some star pins; a black one at your throat and two silver ones on the straps of your overall shorts.
