Carbon Costume

Lincoln Loud (currently voiced by Asher Bishop) is the main character of the Nickelodeon cartoon series The Loud House.  As the middle child (and only boy) in the Loud family, Lincoln has ten sisters and is a fan of manga, comics, and video games.  Lincoln has white hair and sports an overbite with a chipped tooth, which you can recreate with a little patience and some costume tooth wax.  His clothing consists of jeans, an orange shirt, and white sneakers with red stripes.

Darby (voiced by Chloe Grace Moretz) is the protagonist of the Disney Channel cartoon series My Friends Tigger and Pooh.  She is friendly and outgoing, the leader of the Super Sleuths, and the best friend of Christopher Robin.  Darby has short red hair she wears held back by a light purple headband, as well as a matching purple sweater, cargo pants, and comfortable sneakers.

Mami Nanami is a main character in the Rent-A-Girlfriend manga series. Illustrated by Reiji Miyajima, it has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and complied into twenty one volumes. Mami is Kazuya’s former girlfriend. While she appears friendly, she is actually jealous and possessive in a way that scares off others. She can’t believe that Kazuya found another girlfriend so soon after their break up.

Chizuru Mizuhara is a main character in the Rent-A-Girlfriend manga series. Illustrated by Reiji Miyajima, it has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and complied into twenty one volumes. By day, Chizuru is a college student under her grandmother Sayuri’s family name, Ichinose. By night, she is a rental girlfriend. Usually her ratings are exceptional, until Kazuya gives her a bad one. Although because he wants to get over his recent breakup, and his grandmother Nagomi takes a liking to her, Kazuya continues to rent her services. This becomes difficult when they realize they attend the same college and live next to each other.

Kazyua Kinoshita is a main character in the Rent-A-Girlfriend manga series. Illustrated by Reiji Miyajima, it has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and complied into twenty one volumes. Indecisive yet kind, he is a twenty years old college student who lives in Tokyo. After breaking up with his girlfriend, he decides to use an online dating service. He then rents a girlfriend named Chizuru. Now he has to continue renting her to keep up appearances, but he eventually develops romantic feelings. Kayuza later works at a karaoke bar to pay for their dates. A notable characteristic is his love for marine biology and aquariums. In fact, one of his many pet fish provides commentary in the manga.

Namaari (voiced by Gemma Chan) is the primary antagonist of the Disney animated feature film Raya and the Last Dragon.  She is the princess of Fang, one of the five lands of Kumandra, just as Raya is a princess of Heart.  Namaari is fiercely protective of her people and will do whatever it takes to help them prosper.  She wears her hair short and shorn on one side where she wears a long gold tassel earring.  If you aren’t quite ready for an undercut, a deep side part and some gel to slick back the hair on the left side of your head can help you achieve a similar look.  She also wears gold arm bands and a gold belt over a red sash, harem pants, and a beige tank top.

Mr Saito (played by Ken Watanabe) is the head of Proclus Global in the film Inception.  A rich and powerful man, Saito is originally targeted by Cobb and Arthur.  However, once Saito realizes he is in a dream, he seeks to recruit them for a job of his own.  In the opening dream sequence, Saito wears a tuxedo that combines traditional Japanese garments with more Western silhouettes.  A similar look can be achieved by using the top portion of a nagajuban or a hanjuban undergarment.  Either way, it is best to choose one with pleats or grey details to best exemplify Saito’s costuming.

Iceman is a hero in the Marvel comics in affiliation with the X-Men as well as Spiderman. His real name is Robert Louis Drake. He is a mutant with the powers to manipulate ice by freezing water vapor. He can also turn his body into ice. Iceman is notable for being openly gay in the more recent X-Men comics. Sew the X-Men logo patch onto the sleeve of the leather jacket. You can use the pale blue face paint on your hands or get a pair of light blue gloves.
