Dark Princess Animatronic by Spirit Halloween

Dark Princess is an animatronic that was released with the ‘Carnevil’ set of themeing from Spirit Halloween for the 2024 season. A tiny powerhouse of a jumpscare, she pops up from her base and screams to startle passersby.

Her lore tells us that she was curious about the goings-on down on Earth and decided to start hunting reapers, until she came across Lucifer and was captivated by his beauty. He convinced her to join him and start tempting humans into darkness, and now she works at his side causing chaos and destruction.

Dark Princess’ design is fairly simple for an animatronic, with her color scheme being very monochromatic. Her hair is shoulder length and styled in a hime type cut, her face is heavily distorted with her eyes and mouth being black stretched out voids, and she has fabric draped black wings. She has a black underskirt, and a white dress with a peter pan collar and the hems of her skirt and sleeves dip-dyed in a blackish-grey that’s seemingly consuming the white.

My Melody

My Melody is a Sanrio character. She is a white rabbit who is best friends with Hello Kitty, and the sweeter counterpart to Kuromi. She also enjoys baking. Goofy

Gawrsh! Goofy is an animated Disney character and one of the Sensational Six. Childish yet good-natured, he is Mickey’s good friend (not to be confused with Mickey’s pet dog, Pluto). As his name describes, he loves to make jokes and gags, though his clumsiness lands him into the occasional trouble. In A Goofy Movie, we find out he has a son named Max, where he’s a still silly but well-meaning parent. His signature guffaw sounds like “a-hyuck!” You can use black face paint for your nose, and you can wear a pair of light blue jeans if you’re not feeling the chinos.

presephone from hadestown

Persephone from Hadestown

Persephone (originated on Broadway by Amber Grey) is the wife of Hades in the musical Hadestown.  Persephone is meant to spend half the year in the human realm, and half in the underworld with her husband.  During the musical, this balance is thrown off and Persephone spends less and less time above ground with Hermes, Orpheus, and Eurydice, which results in harsher and harsher weather.  Persephone’s costume is meant to evoke the hopeful green of springtime.  It’s difficult to find an exact replica of her bright green dress, so don’t be afraid to play with layers and textures to build your silhouette.  Try layering a lace long top beneath a buff sleeve blouse and then pairing them with a green asymmetrical skirt.  You’ll need a flower crown for your hair, black tights and booties, and a floral detailed tote bag.  Finish the look with a luxuious faux fur coat.
