Jeanette Miller from Alvin and the Chipmunks
In Alvin and the Chipmunks, Jeanette Miller (voiced by Janice Karman) is the second of the Chipettes, younger than Brittany and older than Eleanor. She is the absent-minded professor type of the group, gifts with extraordinary intelligence that leaves her contemplating the universe while tripping over her own feet and knocking things over. In a sense she’s most similar to Theodore, but gets along best with Simon due to their shared interests. Jeanette has brown hair and green or blue eyes, and her signature color is purple.
Joker from Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
In Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, it’s the year 2040 and Bruce Wayne has retired from crime-fighting, passing on the mantle of Batman to high schooler Terry McGinnis. This is when Joker (voiced by Mark Hamill) resurfaces in Neo-Gotham City, taking over the Jokerz gang and going on a crime spree.

Joe Gardner from Soul
In Pixar’s Soul, Joe Gardner (voiced by Jamie Foxx) is a middle school music teacher who has a lifelong dream of being an onstage jazz performer. It looks like he’ll finally get his big break when he impresses other jazz musicians as an opening act when he has an accident, which causes his soul to separate from his body to get transported to the You Seminar, where he must help souls develop passions before being transported to newborns. Joe’s costume is drab and not too flashy, although his stylish hat hints at the passion brimming underneath.

In Toy Story 3, Barbie is a pretty blonde doll who ends up being donated to Sunnyside Daycare with Andy’s toys, including Woody. There she meets Ken, who seems to be her the boy of her dreams. Barbie’s outfit is based on an 80s look, when aerobics, leg warmers, and bright fluorescent colors were in.

In Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, Tommy Jarvis (Thom Mathews) has finally stabilized after killing Jason Voorhees as a boy and being institutionalized over the trauma causing him to assume Jason’s hockey mask. When Tommy goes to view Jason’s corpses to get closure, lightning accidentally strikes the body, re-animating him as a zombie with supernatural powers.

Landlady from Kung Fu Hustle
In Kung Fu Hustle, in a town full of crooks and thugs, the toughest person on the block is the middle-aged, chain-smoking Landlady (Yuen Qiu) of Pig Sty Alley. The landlady rules the slum with an iron fist, and all feel her wrath from her husband to the residents to encroaching members of the Axe Gang. Her powerful weapons include her Lion’s Roar technique, ability to run like the Roadrunner, and red slippers.
