Orgazmo
Joe Young (Trey Parker) is a young Mormon missionary who finds himself in the world of pornography playing Orgazmo, the titular sexual superhero in an insanely popular porno. Orgazmo fights crime with the Orgazmorator alongside his sidekick ChodaBoy. To recreate Orgazmo’s over-the-top look, you’ll need a pink bodysuit, green cape, and purple facemask. Then, you’ll want silver gloves, boots, and a jockstrap to wear over your bodysuit. If you want to get even closer to the costume used in the film, you can cut the sleeves off the bodysuit and wear layer a purple compression shirt underneath, as well as add the Orgazmo emblem with some silver and black fabric paint.
Serial Designation J from Murder Drones
Serial Designation J (voiced by Shara Kirby) is an antagonist at the beginning of the Murder Drones animated web series. J, as she is most often called, is a Disassembly Drone intent upon decommissioning as many Worker Drones as she can, which makes her an enemy of N, a much kinder Disassembly Drone, and Uzi, a Worker Drone and the protagonist of the series. J’s look is in line with all the other Disassembly Drones. She has a white body and hair worn in pigtails with a black dress overtop. You can add details to the boots and bodysuit with some hazard tape. J’s eyes and headband light up, which you can recreate with a pair of LED sunglasses and a black headband outfitted with some yellow strip lighting. Simply cut the strip lights down to get them as close to her original design as possible.
Snow White from Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs
Snow White (voiced by Chloe Grace Moretz) is a woman transformed in Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs. A pair of magical red shoes change Snow White’s appearance before she meets the Seven Dwarfs, including Prince Merlin. While transformed, Snow White goes by the name Red Shoes to conceal her identity. Snow White and Red Shoes wear the same outfit, with minor changes to the way it fits, so you can choose to wear the costume either way, depending on your preference. Obviously, the most important part of your recreation is a pair of red high-heeled shoes. You’ll also need a white top–you can opt for a longer-sleeved peasant top with a square neckline, or perhaps a shorter version with a lace front. A dark red skirt and waist belt complete the look.
Karen the Computer from the SpongeBob Musical
Karen Plankton is the computer wife of Sheldon J. Plankton in The SpongeBob Musical. Karen is a computer and, alongside her husband, tries to trick the residents of Bikini Bottom. Karen’s look in the musical is very different from the ordinary computer screen in the original cartoon series. To recreate the costume, you’ll want to focus on the futuristic aesthetic. Karen wears green tights, silver boots, and silver wraparound glasses. A futuristic space explorer costume is a good stand-in for an official Karen costume, but you can also get close with a silver skirt and a draped top. Finish the look with a purple wig of your choice and some frosty lilac lipstick.
Doja Cat’s Red Crystal Outfit from Paris Fashion Week
Doja Cat is known for wearing a plethora of extreme looks when she attends Paris Fashion Week, and she kicked off 2023 in a very memorable ensemble. Schiaparelli’s Couture Spring-Summer 2023 show saw her in red body paint with more than 30,000 Swarovski crystals applied to her body. You can choose to recreate her look in a few different ways. Perhaps the simplest approach would be to use high-quality red body paint and red body glitter to evoke a similarly sparkling look. If you’re not up for body paint and have a lot more spare time, you could use a bedazzling kit to add red rhinestones to a bodysuit to wear under your dress. To complete the crimson costume, you’ll need dangly earrings, knee-high boots, and a long scarf in similar shades of rouge. It can be difficult to track down a popcorn-textured skirt, but you can layer a tulle or fringe skirt over a tube dress to evoke a similar feel.
Twist from The Fresh Beat Band
Twist (Jon Beavers) is the protagonist of the Nickelodeon series, The Fresh Beat Band. He is the DJ and rapper for the titular band. Silly and imaginative, Twist goes with the flow. His catchphrase is “Sweet!” As seen with his outfit, his favorite colors are blue and yellow. Get a pair of over the ear headphones to accessorize.
Emily Cooper from Emily in Paris
Emily Cooper (played by Lily Collins) is the protagonist of the Netflix series Emily in Paris. Initially sent to Paris to oversee a transition at her company, Emily wears an array of eye-popping couture fashion throughout the series. Some of her most memorable looks include bold colors and unique accessories. When recreating any of Emily’s looks, it’s important to remember that many of the pieces used on the show are from high-end designers, so it’s okay to find something that’s a close match instead of an exact duplicate. Focus on colors and silhouettes, like the nude booties shown here which still have the open front feel of the ones Emily wears in the show. You can also choose to focus on patterns or colors like the two skirts you could decide to pair with her yellow blazer–the tie-dyed skirt has more of that eye-catching color, but the striped skirt maintains the same visual flow as the one from the show because of its lines.
Bayonetta from Bayonetta 3
Bayonetta (voiced in Bayonetta 3 by Jennifer Hale) is the titular witch of the PlatinumGames series. Bayonetta is an Umbra Witch tasked with protecting the multiverse alongside her apprentice Viola in the third installment of the franchise. Bayonetta’s costume is complex and will require a little creativity to recreate. As a base, you’ll need black leggings with a lace cutout design and a puffy-sleeved backless shirt. Bayonetta’s belt and skirt in the game are crafted from her own hair. If you’d rather not collect your locks to weave a costume, a black obi sash and tutu will suffice. Lastly, you’ll need light purple gloves, glasses, and a long black wig plaited on either side with red cord. The gold details of her outfit, if you choose to add them, can be recreated with a glue gun, some gold glue, and applique pieces. Be strategic about which aspects of her costume are most important to you. You can add gold flowers to the tutu, floral applique to the gloves, and even some gold details to the heels of your shoes. Finding a replica gun from the game can be quite expensive, so consider using a toy foam blaster that will help evoke the same feel even if it’s not an exact match.
Clive Dove from Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
Clive (voiced in Japanese by Yuri Lowenthal and in English by Shun Oguri) is the main antagonist of the video game Professor Layton and the Unwound Future.
He pretended to be a future version of Hershel Layton’s apprentice, Luke Triton, in order to make it seem like there really were time shenanigans going on, to trick them.
Due to his appearance faking, he mostly just looks like an older Luke, with similar light brown hair, and a blue newsboy cap. He wears a white button up shirt with a grey-brown vest and blue tie over top, a light blue suit jacket, brown shorts, dark blue tube socks, and brownish-black buckled shoes.
Kojiro Nanjo (Joe) from Sk8 the Infinity
Kojiro (voiced in Japanese by Yasunori Matsumoto and in English by Jonah Scott) is one of the main cast members of the anime Sk8 the Infinity.
He is one of the founding members of ‘S’ and has been a skater since he was a teenager, preferring to use his above-average strength to perform dangerous skate tricks with ease during competitions. When he isn’t skateboarding, he’s also a professional chef with his own restaurant.
Kojiro has reddish-brown eyes (a little hard to determine due to lighting) and green messy hair that he ties back in a low ponytail while skating. He prefers to show off while he’s skating, so only wears a multicolored jacket off his shoulders and a necklace on his top half, as well as low-slung white pants with black and gold criss-crossed belts over them. He finishes off the outfit with black finger-less gloves and black/orange sneakers.
