Red Skull
Red Skull (portrayed by Hugo Weaving in the MCU) was the first recipient of the serum that eventually turned Steve Rogers into Captain America. It – for better or worse – did not have the same effect on Johann Schmidt. Instead of great strength and agility he was reduced to a blood-red near-skeleton ever in search of power he cannot hope to control.
Cosplaying as the Red Skull takes a bit of work because getting the skeleton-like look is not easy. Start with a bald cap and some red SFX paint. Red gloves will cover your hands and a little bit of standard makeup can finish the look. Then add on a long black military-style coat, bloused pants, and black boots. Finally around out the costume with a Hydra belt buckle, a World War Two pistol, and a tesseract!
Cranberry Juice Skateboarder
Nathan Apodaca aka Dogg Face had a TikTok video go viral, when he skateboarded carefree along a highway while vibing to Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” and sipping a big bottle of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry Juice. The unexpected skateboard / Fleetwood / Ocean Spray combo hit a chord, this pure moment racking up over 25 million views. Soon after, Mick Fleetwood himself paid tribute by recreating the TikTok, and Ocean Spray hooked Apodaca up with a new truck and a truck-bed full of cranberry juice.
Hayden Park from 100 Days in Europe
In the webcomic 100 Days in Europe, arrogant and self-centered Hayden Park is a New York-based celebrity on a trip through Europe to find himself after a traumatic breakup. He barely manages to avoid the paparazzi, but he can’t seem to avoid humble artist and backpacker, Gia Sunoo. Will her humility and appreciation for the little things rub off on him, or will he continue to stay aloof from all things “ugly”?
Dracula from Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)
Dracula is the main antagonist in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Filmed in 1992, the movie features a star studded cast: Keanu Reeves as Jonathan Harker, Winona Ryder as Mina Harker, Anthony Hopkins as Professor Van Helsing, and Gary Oldman as Dracula himself. As the story always goes, Dracula is the enigmatic owner of a castle in Transylvania, who is really a vampire. He invites Jonathan to arrange his real estate acquisitions in London. Despite the mention of the author in the movie title, director and producer Francis Ford Coppola doesn’t stick exactly to the book. For instance, he gives backstory to Dracula, and makes Mina a reincarnation of his wife.
Joan Lambert from Alien
Joan Lambert (played by Veronica Cartwright) is the navigator aboard the USCSS Nostromo. Lambert suffered from hyperactivity and nervousness which is suspected to be caused by trauma she faced as trans woman. Her nervousness caused her to freeze up when faced with the Xenomorph while searching for coolant. In the end, she was too afraid to take the risk and save herself.
Alex Danvers from Supergirl
Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) is the loyal older sister of Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl. Alex could have easily felt stifled in the shadow of her superpowered sibling, but she’s embraced her unique accomplishments and really come into her own as a fellow superhero. In early episodes of Supergirl, Alex’s fitted black garb and holster belts evoked a Black Widow-esque vibe, but the character and costume have both evolved.
Elle Driver from Kill Bill
Elle Driver played by Daryl Hannah is a member of The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. Her code name is California Mountain Snake. Elle was put in the position Beatrix Kiddo had before her attempted assassination by Bill. It is clear that she and Bill had some sort of romantic relation after Kiddo’s attempted assassination. Her most notable characteristic is her eyepatch which she wears due to having her eye ripped out by Pei Mei for calling him a ‘miserable old fool’ while training. Elle can be described as short-tempered rude and arrogant. Her selfish behavior eventually causes her demise.

Mymble from Moominvally
Mymble (voiced by Jennifer Saunders) is a character in the decades-old Finnish Moominvalley franchise. In the most recent remake she is a relatively minor character with a very simply design. Don’t let her design fool you, though. Putting together a Mymble cosplay will take a little bit of DIY.
Mymble is usually seen wearing a very full white coat with yellow stripes, yellow buttons, and purple cuffs that match her purple scarf. Her feet aren’t visible which means that you can wear any shoes you want. And her ginger hair is pulled up in a pointy top knot that you can gel in place so that your wig is always ready to go.
The DIY comes in with Mymbles coat. It is very simple but finding something like it is almost impossible. Your best bet is to buy a dress with sleeves, then use fabric paint to add on the stripes. A little bit of sewing will add the buttons to the front. And you can make purple cuffs by cutting off part of the large purple scarf linked above since Mymble’s scarf is fairly short.
You can also add a hoop or petticoat under the dress to fill it out like Mymble’s coat or you can leave the dress loose for the sake of comfort.
Susan from Future Man
In the future, Susan is a man’s name and reality TV really could be the death of you. In season 3 of Future Man, Susan (played by Seth Rogan) is the producer of the Diecathlon show that Tiger, Wolf, and Josh are subjected to as punishment for their time travel crimes. Susan’s position at the network is precarious at best, and when the trio manages to escape, he must track them down through infinite time and space to save his job and keep his family (an android wife and daughter he leases from the network and who can be stored as small silver cubes). Susan has a bright red patch of hair and wears several suits throughout the series, including one with a peacock feather bow tie and glitter on the lapels.
