John Moore from The Alienist
John Moore (portrayed by Luke Evans) is a newspaper illustrator and friend of Dr. Laszlo Kreizler on TNT’s The Alienist. John can be melancholy and prone to self-destructive behavior as the result of a broken engagement and the death of his younger brother many years before. John uses his skills as an illustrator to create crime scene documentation that prove helpful to Dr. Kreizler and Sara Howard as they continue their investigations. John comes from a wealthy family and dresses the part well. If you are recreating his look, don’t be afraid of mixing patterns and colors in traditional Victorian silhouettes.
Arthur Koblenz Dallas From Alien
Arthur Koblenz Dallas (played by Tom Skerritt) is the captain of The USCSS Nostromo in Alien. Dallas was brash in making decisions and ultimately made choices that fatally harmed the group and himself. Dallas’s western style work jacket is his most identifiable characteristic.
Nate Jacobs from Euphoria
Nate Jacobs played by Jacob Elordi is a major antagonist in the HBO series Euphoria. He is your stereotypical high school jock. The East Highland star quarterback is well known for his toxic behaviors. His father Cal Jacobs is equally toxic and has raised Nate to push down his emotions leading to him usually exploding with anger. Nate struggles with his sexuality and has a lot of internalized homophobia. It seems he also knows something about his own father’s sexuality which has been a long-kept family secret. Nate is very manipulative and abusive towards his on and off again girlfriend Maddy Parez. The two don’t seem to stop sneaking around and getting back together. Nate’s style is super simple and preppy. The attire is casual but very well kept. This costume should be easy to put together even as a last-minute Halloween costume. It would work great as an addition to a Euphoria group costume.
Jessie from Brawl Stars
In Brawl Stars, Jessie is a girl who is handy building gadgets. As a brawler, she herself has moderate health and damage, but is supported by a dog-like turret that she can deploy in the field named Scrappy. There’s also the Summer Jessie skin that has her dressed for summer fun.
Romano from Hetalia
Lovino Vargas, also known as South Italy or Romano, is a side character in Hetalia: Axis Powers. In contrast to his younger brother, Feliciano, he is rude and unaffectionate. But behind his tough act, he’s just as clumsy and cowardly. He has assimilated Spain’s culture because Spain raised him. Unlike Feliciano, he hates Germany. Attach the the pipe cleaner onto the wig and bend it to make Romano’s upwards curl.
Pucca
Pucca is the main character of her self-titled show. She is a capable and powerful martial artist who opts to support her friend – and crush – Garu in his own martial arts pursuits. She tends to be clingy and follows him around. He isn’t too keen on this even though she saves him from trouble time and again. Like Garu, many people make the mistake of underestimating Pucca. With her black leggings, red dress, pink cheeks, and hair buns she is the epitome of cute. Just don’t make her angry!
Supernova from Rick and Morty
Supernova (voiced by Gillian Jacobs) is a collapsed star-turned-superheroine. With a complicated love life and spotted past, she’s not what you might first think of as a hero. But she’s powerful and she tries to do what the Vindicators think is right. Mostly.
As a collapsing star she is like a galaxy unto herself. Her body and hair are both the swirls of color associated with galaxy print while she opts for silver boots, gloves, and accessories.
Emma from Dave
On the TV show Dave, Emma (played by Christine Ko) is Ally‘s roommate and friend. Emma offers colorful commentary, and even more colorful clothing to the show, while also providing Dave with unique artwork for his live performances. Emma and Elz hook up at the start of episode 7, and she borrows a grey t-shirt from him for the ride home. Emma dons bright vintage-inspired clothing and wears her hair in two space buns. Replicating Emma’s vintage sweaters could be difficult without a trip to a thrift store, making this costume a perfect opportunity to check out your local vintage scene.
Striga from Castlevania
Striga (played by Ivana Milicevic in the Netflix series Castlevania) is one of the members of the council of sisters. Her role in the council is serving as the head general to the army of vampires. Striga and Morana work closely side by side keeping Styria up and running. They are also in a loving relationship and are the main rulers of Styria when Carmilla is away. Striga has a serious nature and is weary towards rash decision making when it comes to the welfare of her empire. Her thoughtful decision making skills show her to be a great military strategist. Striga’s costume takes a considerable amount of wrapping. After putting on the White Gothic Dress fold the Black Medieval Cowl around your waist so that the fabric goes a bit above your waist and falls down to your lower thigh. The cowl has a pin but if you want extra security I suggest using safety/dress pins where you feel is necessary. The you will wrap the Wine Red Sash over the black cowl. Use the sash to cover up the cowls pin if it is very visible. The sash should go a bit above the waist and end close to the hips. This may also require safety/dress pins to keep tight. Once everything feels secure you can wrap the belt around your waist. I suggest doing your make up now. The Costume Vampire Ears can be matched to your skin tone with the daily foundation you use. You can over draw your brows to make them look stronger if youd like. After getting the Vampire Fangs on, apply the Lime Crime Velvetines Liquid Matte Lipstick In ‘Gigi.’ Once your make up is done put on The Black Leather Single Shoulder Cover and Black Leather Spiked Bracer. Finally, wrap the Royal Blue Cowl around your neck and put on the Black Leather Foldover Boots and you are all set. This is a great costume especially if you are doing group castlevania costumes with some friends or a couple costume with someone dressed as Morana. Castlevania costumes work well for both cosplay events and Halloween parties!
Lestat de Lioncourt from Interview with the Vampire
Lestat de Lioncourt (played by Tom Cruise in the movie Interview with a Vampire) is a French-born vampire. Turned sometime around the French Revolution He did not want to be turned and was not warned prior to either his turning or the death of the vampire that made him what he was. As such he didn’t have much knowledge of wider vampire customs and culture until after he had already turned Louise and, later, Claudia.
He has a volatile temper that flares when his lust for earthly delights is denied. His character is tempered later by knowledge and maturity. But in the first film he is very much a pleasure seeker tired of seeking out thrills alone. And when he is challenged, the results are always destructive.
In life and undeath Lestat is a fashionable man. He wears his long wavy hair either down or back in a bun. Per the fashion of his time he wears a billowing white shirt, a brocade wist coat, a frock coat, knee high white socks, knee breeches, and buckle shoes. And, of course, his costume would not be complete without a pair of fangs.
