Otto from Rocket Power
Highly competitive and great at almost any extreme sport, Oswald “Otto” Rocket is zooming around Ocean Shores with his friends. Otto doesn’t mind a challenge, so he constantly tries out new tricks. He usually does surfing, skate boarding, cycling, and long boarding. He is also captain of the youth league street hockey team, and can often be seen at at his dad’s shop, the Shore Shack.
Kikyō from InuYasha
Born in Japan during the Feudal Era, Kikyō was the priestess and shrine guardian of her village in the anime InuYasha. She sacrificed her life to keep the Shikon Jewel out of the mortal realm but it was later revived by her reincarnation Kagome Higurashi. Kikyō was voiced by Noriko Hidaka in the original Japanese Anime and by Canadian voice actress Willow Johnson in the English dub. This costume is very low maintenance and most of the work will be in styling the wig. Try looking up tutorials to create a great looking hair bow with the ribbon that will hold your hair in place all day.
Jackie from Cyberchase
Jackie helps keep the cyberworld safe along side her friends Inez, Matt, and Digit in Cyberchase. Her knack for organization and patterns helps solve problems the gang comes across. The lively fashionista likes to stay on top of things. When her mind starts spinning, she’ll start moving, which is why you might hear her say, “Make room! I gotta pace.”
Lara Jean Covey from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 2
In To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 2: P.S. I Still Love You, Lara Jean Covey (played by Lana Condor) finds herself having to choose between her dreamy boyfriend Peter Kavinsky and a new love interest who responds to one of her original letters, John Ambrose. While much of Lara’s signature vintage-infused style is seen in the film, she also gets to dress up more for some exciting events including her first date with Peter, a traditional Korean New Year celebration, and a ball she and John Ambrose throw at the nursing home where they both volunteer.
Jason Mendoza from The Good Place
Lovable yet painfully unintelligent, Jason Mendoza (Manny Jacinto) is one of the supporting characters in The Good Place. Like Eleanor, he was inducted by mistake. He must pose as a silent Tibetian monk, but in reality, he’s a “pre-successful” DJ from Florida. When faced with a problem, his solution is to toss a Molotov cocktail at it. Another option for an outfit is a Jacksonville Jaguars football jersey. Bonus points if you rep Blake Bortles, aka Jason’s favorite player.
Captain Sea Hawk from She-Ra and The Princesses of Power
Captain Seahawk voiced by Jordan Fisher is a quirky character in the She-Ra universe. He tends to over-exaggerate his heroic nature but never the less has a good heart and works alongside the princess alliance. He is infatuated with princess Mermista who eventually warms up to him as well. This costume is comfortable and casual. For a little extra flair mimicking seahawk’s mustache with a brow pencil could complete the look.
Tai Kamiya from Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna
In Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, Tai Kamiya and his friends have reached adulthood when they learn the news that the partnership with their Digimon is ending and they’ll forever be separated. Tai is wearing a light blue short-sleeved button-up shirt, white t-shirt, black trousers, blue shoes and his old goggles
Natalie from Isn’t it Romantic?
Natalie doesn’t have the best luck in the love department, so she’s not one to binge watch romantic comedies. Natalie loses consciousness during an attempted mugging only to end up in a dimension exactly like a PG-13 romantic comedy. She’s not a fan of cliches, but thinks it’s her only way to escape this horrid fantasy. Natalie, played by Rebel Wilson, sets out find true love in “Isn’t it Romantic?”.
Gollum from Lord of the Rings
Sauron’s Ring of Power changed many hands throughout the centuries, until one fateful day, it ended up in the grubby hands of Gollum (Andy Serkis). The Ring corrupted him, mind and body, but added years to his already miserable life, and Gollum grew addicted to the power it granted him until one day, a Hobbit named Bilbo Baggins made Gollum quit cold turkey. As a result, Gollum swore revenge against the Bagginses, including Bilbo’s nephew Frodo.
Riff Raff from Rocky Horror Picture Show
Described in the opening credits as “a handyman,” Riff Raff (Richard O’Brien) is a resident of Frank n Furter’s mansion in Rocky Horror Picture Show. A fellow Transylvanian, he acts as a butler, but has something sinister up his sleeve. He is the brother of Magenta, “the domestic” (maid). He introduces and leads the “Time Warp.”
