Men
Pennywise from It
Anyone who’s afraid of clowns is probably afraid of them because of Stephen King’s It. It is able to shape-shift and exploits the fears of its victims. It primarily takes the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown in order to attract its preferred prey, young children.
Solid Snake
In the Metal Gear Solid series, Solid Snake is special ops agent who infiltrates enemy installations and disrupts their operations. When he’s vastly outnumbered, he’ll do whatever it takes to remain stealthy, and isn’t above camping out in a cardboard box.
Ghostface from Scream
In the Scream series, Sidney Prescott is the target of Ghostface, a masked murderer who torments her by killing the people around her. The Scream series revived the horror genre in the 90’s by incorporating humor and by its acknowledgment of horror movie cliches.
Spider-Man
When Peter Parker gets bit by a radioactive spider on a school field trip (don’t you hate when that happens?), he develops super strength, the ability to cling to any surface, and a spidey sense. At that point, he has no choice but to build web shooters for his wrists and call himself Spider-Man.
Michael Myers
In the Halloween slasher films, Michael Myers is a masked killer on the loose, stalking his next teenage victim. Don’t get him confused with Jason Voorhees or Mike Myers, he takes great offense when that happens.
Oldboy
On his daughter’s third birthday, businessman Oh Dae-Su is kidnapped and held for 15 long years without any human contact or explanation in Oldboy. He passes the time shadowboxing, which, along with a hammer, comes in useful when he has to fight his way through 25 gang members.
Freddy Krueger
Freddy Krueger may know when you’re sleeping and when you’re awake but he’s no Santa Claus. With biting wit, he manipulates his victim’s dreams making everyone afraid to fall asleep. While Freddy’s powers are not easy to obtain, you can get his look with little effort. The hardest part is the make-up and if you really want to be authentic you can put burn holes in your clothes. That’s really the only way you’ll get away with wearing a Christmas sweater all year.
The Rocketeer
In 1930s Los Angeles, stunt pilot Cliff Secord (Billy Campbell) stumbles upon a rocket pack designed by Howard Hughes. He uses it during a show and becomes a media sensation as The Rocketeer. The fame doesn’t help though when the mob is willing to kill to get the rocket pack back for a Nazi secret agent.
Glenn Quagmire
Glenn Quagmire is one of Peter Griffin’s close friends in Family Guy. He’s an airline pilot during the day and a sleazy sex hound with questionable morals at night. Giggity giggity goo.
