SCP 1471-A from SCP Containment Breach
SCP 1471 is a mysterious app that, once downloaded, eventually leads to the user seeing SCP 1471-A, a humanoid wolf creature with a skull for a face and creepy, milk-white eyes. While SCP 1471-A’s true intentions are not fully understood, it is generally considered best to avoid it in the game SCP: Containment Breach. To create an SCP 1471-A costume, you will need an animal skull mask, tattered wolf ears attached to a messy black wig, and wolf-like hands and feet. While the game version shows SCP 1471-A dressed in black shirt and pants, there are many interpretations of its clothing, though its costume almost always includes rope tied around the waist like a belt.
Hannah Montana
Hannah Montana was the celebrity persona/alter ego of pop singer Miley Cyrus. She had her own show on Disney Channel, which revolved around Miley Stewart, a normal high schooler, by day and Hannah, a teen pop sensation, by night. Some of her famous songs include “Best of Both Worlds,” “Rock Star,” and “Nobody’s Perfect.” Her massive success resulted in two movies: one following her concert and the other as a conclusion to the show. She is known for her signature blonde wig. Later on, she made music as both Hannah and Miley, before just going by Miley. This makes a great throwback or Disney nostalgia costume.
Soul of Cinder from Dark Souls
In Dark Souls, the Soul of Cinder is a being made up of all previous lords of Cinder. This not only makes it incredibly hard to beat but also terrifying to behold. Getting the exact look takes some painting skill and possibly wearable pyrotechnics (which we really don’t recommend). But we’ve found pieces that will get you close!
To start you’ll want a black compression shirt and compression pants. They’re tight fitting and breathable so your clothes won’t get twisted up under your armor and you won’t overheat too quickly. On top of that you’ll want a set of knight’s armor, though we recommend plastic over metal for ease of movement. You’ll also need a set of swords to deal with the challengers you’re sure to encounter. If you’ve got a bit of extra money to spend you can get a Cinder replica helmet. They aren’t easily affordable, however, and with some paint a standard knight helmet should do the trick. And finally a can of chalky gray spray paint topped with an oxidizing effects paint kit should help give your armor the eternally burned look Soul of Cinder is known for.
Catherine Parr from SIX! The Musical
Catherine Parr is a historical figure and character in SIX the Musical. She is the sixth and final wife of Henry VIII who survived. Her song “I Don’t Need Your Love” is a R&B ballad about having to abandon her feelings for Thomas Seymour to dutifully accept Henry’s proposal. It turns into an anthem for how she doesn’t need either of their love. In the show’s plot, Parr is the one who found the other queens and formed a pop band. Maiya Quansah-Breed starred in the original UK tour and Anne Uzele originated the role on Broadway. Use the blue holo vinyl and studded trim on the top and leggings. Want more queendom? Sophie is described as being very beautiful, with brown eyes that have gold flecks in them, and long blonde hair. Despite being referred to as “Tsu” by her friends, she addresses everyone with honorific suffix “chan,” which is normally only reserved for authority figures. Tsuyu is laid-back and level-headed, yet she is also very straightforward, always speaking her mind about others. Known as the Rainy Season Hero called Froppy, her Quirk is called Frog, which grants her all the abilities of a frog. Use the dark green face paint to draw a line across your face, underneath your eyes and over the bridge of your nose.
Nicki Brand from Videodrome

Once Nicki discovers Videodrome is being broadcast Pittsburgh she leaves Max and travels there to audition, never to return. Nicki’s outfit is a monochromatic red with chunky gold accessories. Her eyeshadow is a soft earth tone and she wears mauve colored lip gloss. This iconic outfit will surely be a unique and elegant look for any Horrorcon or Halloween party.
Rita Morgan from Dexter
Rita Morgan – originally Rita Bennett and played by Julie Benz – was one of the main women on Dexter. She started out as Dexter’s girlfriend and was more or less a cover to make him appear more normal. Over time, however, he became protective of her and her children. Despite Dexter’s nature he even goes so far as to marry Rita. This doesn’t end well for her due to the nature of Dexter’s enemies. But before her demise she was often seen as the beacon of compassion among the often chaotic characters on the show.
Cosplaying as Rita is very straightforward. Her mannerisms make up most of her character thanks to her soft spoken ways and generally calm outlook on things. Her clothing tends to be sundresses and sandals which isn’t surprising given that she lives in Miami. And she wears her hair long, blonde, and curly.
If you want to go for a more emotional take on the character you can cosplay as a pregnant Rita. And if you’re a fan of the more shocking cosplay, you can opt for some fake blood instead to give a nod toward her end on the show.
