Marilyn Thornhill from Wednesday
Ms. Marilyn Thornhill is a character in the Netflix show, Wednesday. She is the first “Normie” on the teaching staff at Nevermore Academy. She teaches botany, specifically carnivorous plants. She is the dorm mom of the Ophelia Dorm, where Wednesday and Enid reside. You may recognize this actress too: It’s none other than, Christina Ricci, who portrayed Wednesday in The Addams Family movies from the 90s.
Penelope Wilhern
In Penelope, Penelope Wilhern (Christina Ricci) is a pretty young lady who unfortunately has the nose and ears of a pig, due to a curse a witch once placed on her family. She is introduced to many suitors, with the hope that falling in love will break the curse, all the while avoiding the tabloid paparazzi.
Rae Doole from Black Snake Moan
In Black Snake Moan, Christina Ricci plays Rae Doole, a nymphomaniac held captive by a religious farmer who’s set on curing her of her sinful ways. As you might expect, she spends most of her time scantily clad in little more than chains, but she eventually trades them in for an old fashioned dress.
Vexy the Naughty Smurf
In The Smurfs 2, the evil wizard Gargamel creates a naughty smurf named Vexy (voiced by Christina Ricci). He hopes she’ll be a bad influence on the Smurfs, turning them to the dark side. With this costume, you can dye the smurf hat gray or use it to give the beanie that smurfy shape.
Wednesday Addams
Wednesday Addams is in an inspiration to goth girls everywhere. With her pale skin and all black clothing, the most color you will see on the grim little girl is red nail polish. Although, who has time for make-up when you’re plotting ways to kill your little brother?
Layla from Buffalo ’66
It takes a heck of a person to pull off dance clothes when meeting their fake husband’s parents for the first time. But Christina Ricci as Layla in Buffalo ’66 makes it seem effortless, even with several pounds of blue eye shadow on. It’s no surprise that Billy Brown is so excited to tell everyone that, “There’s a girl who loves me, and she’s very pretty.” Agreed, Billy.
