Miss Peregrine is one of the main characters in the film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, based off of the book by Ransom Riggs. This movie is directed by Tim Burton and it definitely is fitting in its style. Miss Peregrine is played by Eva Green. The movie is about a boy named Jacob we follow through the story as he is transported into the past where a home of orphans with special powers live.

Miss Peregrine runs this particular home and her Victorian look is inspired by what she can turn into: a peregrine falcon. Vanessa Ives (Eva Green) is the lead character on Penny Dreadful. Set in Victorian England, Vanessa is usually clad in gorgeous, black, period clothing.
